It's amazing how ignorant the NBA forum is. The things people focus and comment on makes me sick.

A real basketball/NBA fan would look at this series as the Spurs are playing really good basketball as a TEAM. Great movement on every possession and great hustle on the defensive end.To top it off great coaching.

And these "LeChoke" comments? Lebron did everything he could and carried the team in the third and played phenomenally when a comeback was possible. His team didn't step up despite given every opportunity and the game got away from them. Lebron didn't score in the 4th because the game was already out of hand and according to the rules you cannot accumulate points from the bench. Sounds logical right?

What irritates me the most is instead of giving credit where it's due and recognizing the Spurs are playing devastating AS A TEAM the insecure Jordan stans and irrational Kobe stans take every opportunity to gloat, take Lebron down a noth, and will cite non related BS to emphasize their ignorance.

This is why good posters defect to the OTC and lose interest in the NBA forum. I pity the mods for their efforts always getting chastised for trying to elevate the intelligence of this place.

it's because it's not as good of a storyline. unfortunately, people don't really care about the greatness of teams. they latch onto a specific player and warp the story to fit their agenda. instead of "the spurs are a great team and are overwhelming the miami heat", it's "lebron isn't good enough to 3 peat." or other things like how this makes duncan the greatest player of his generation, etc, whatever, all these irrelevant things that don't matter

what's NOT being discussed nearly enough is how incredible this spurs TEAM has been playing. seriously, they're ****ing great. but that's not as good of a story as talking about how this makes duncan > kobe or kobe > lebron or duncan > lebron or whatever it is people want to talk about for sensationalist headlines.

I would say the same thing about Lebron stans if it was Kobe in the finals. All 3 fanbases try desperately to try and take the other 2 down with any given opportunity. Jordan stans come off as the worst to me.

But at this point I couldn't care less what fanbase people think I am. Some fanbase is going to call me something if my views conflict theirs

honestly though, kobe/lebron/jordan stans are all the same thing. same extremism, just going for a different player. they love one, so they hate the other two. they all function the same and all have the same tired "arguments" they use to prop up their favorite player. which is why this board is so boring. the kobe/MJ/lebron narrative is played out and these clowns are still on here desperately posting every 15 minutes convincing absolutely nobody

The sad part is, most of the guys clowning today actually like and enjoy Lebron when he plays, unfortunately his trolls turned those same guys into pointing out the negative aspects of his game through the 50 threads they create about so-so can't do "this or that" like the "King". This. This. This.

The current Spurs are really good, no doubt, but they are not some all time great team that is unbeatable. They were a play away from having to go to 7 against the Thunder (really a Parker injury away as he hurts them in that series)...despite basically getting spotted 2 games with Ibaka out.

Lebron stans don't like reality. And reality is, if the Heat lose, that this little Heat experiment will have yield 2 titles in 4 years. Which is just average...and honestly, would have only yielded 1 title if they played in a real conference like the West. No way could the injured/slumping Heat of 2013 won the title having to play real competition...just like they wouldn't have made the finals this year likely playing 3 rounds of real competition to get to the finals.

These first 4 years are about average for realistic expectations...I won't call it below average, but it's close...especially with the 2011 collapse.

That is the real point...the Heat should have already 3 peated and this would be icing on the cake, but because of the Lebron meltdown...this loss is going to matter, at least for now, more than it ever should have.

Not over yet, but LOL at these people acting like this Spurs team is unbeatable. My flawed Mavs took them to 7 and the Thunder missing a key player for 2 games almost got them to 7 with Durant playing like ass for him.

I concur. I'm afraid of drafting Wiggins/Embiid/Parker and being categorized with these clowns if it happens one of them becomes a bonafide star. I refuse to be in the same category with the holy trifecta of garbage.

Won't happen. LeBron had craaaaazy hype. Kobe had L.A and MJ is the GOAT and had one of the largest media pushes of All-Time in sports that constantly has kept him relevant.

KD in OKC has kept him in check, he's used as a tool on ISH. LeBron fans attack him, people who want LeBron dethroned praise him. Everyone else is usually good. Anthony Davis in NOLA. Wiggins/Embiid/Parker are going to Milwaukee/Cleveland/Philly. Wiggins hype died, Embiid is starting to grow but nowhere near levels of LeBron. None of those markets from an online standpoint will be enough to overrun people and as individuals not big enough.

Duncan? People only use him as a prop on ISH against or for LeBron/Kobe. People hate Chris Paul, doesn't overwhelm the place. People troll the Knicks, I use too. Yet doesn't completely re-derail the place. Kevin Love, Westbrook, Rose etc. only becomes unbearable when a player gets intertwined with one of the big 3.

Until the next great hyped prospect comes in or a legit superstar lands in a massive market. Like if New York lands a superstar or L.A again that has legit potential to climb the ranks. I mean the biggest thing we'll probably see is whatever young superstar takes a run at LeBron and people who hate him will use him as a tool, his fanboys will attack him. Besides that we should be agenda/fanboy free until the next great one's step in. Seems to be a connection with online NBA fans going wild for individual players.

I mean you remove everyone who either loves or hates LeBron/Kobe/MJ and this play becomes waaaaay more reasonable. 3 large groups are really the only thing holding it back. Still be trolling, arguing, agendas people just wouldn't be as consumed with it.

If they get past game 5, it's really not a big deal at all to win game 6 in Miami to force a game 7. It's just getting past game 5 that I don't have any faith in.

Well, it's like this...

dudes wanna believe LeBron is godlvl and it's the Miami Cavs, and have been since 2011. So, it becomes kind of a "What happened to Bron?" because he was the only one doing shit, apparently, for this whole run.

I think he's been playing well, he's made some tough shots, but I think he could definitely be doing more. He deserves criticism.

It's not proving he's a scrub or anything, like some people are saying, but I think that's just to counter all of the BRON IS GOAT AFTER 3 PEAT.

The truth is in the middle... and sensationalists on either side are going to say what they will say. If the Heat won 3 in a row and got the chip, it'd be the same BS except in the other direction. That's why I can laugh it all off. It doesn't offend me like it does you.

If you choose to entertain it, then you're no better than them. By you acting like an insecure Jordan fan just marinates with the Lebron trolls and makes one giant pot of shyt gumbo.

double post. You're entertaining lechoke, tho...

where was lebron in the 4th quarter of game 3. Where was lebron in the 2nd quarter when the lead is getting out of reach. Lebron only takes over when defenses are not tighten coz that who he is. Hes not skilled when the going is tough. And that what makes him overrated.

How can a Jordan fan be insecure about anything?...Dude had a fairy tale career and rose to the occasion on the biggest stage several times. His legacy is that of 95% of the basketball world thinking he is GOAT.....trying to tell that many fans, they have it wrong and their eyes lied to them is a joke in itself.

Also its a message board.....its for shit talking and opinions. If this shit gets anyone mad, then they have some serious issues.

About one topic in 5 is worth glancing through. Im just letting it go mostly because its the finals and emotions run high. On their own merits...90% of the board needs deleting the last couple days.

Such a fanatical statement. If you believe that 95% of the world thinks Jordan is GOAT then you are delusional. 95% of ISH doesn't even think Jordan is GOAT. Statements like that make you no less ignorant than the Lebron/Kobe stans. But if you truly believe that then things other people say shouldn't bother you and you shouldn't waste your time trying to discredit anyone

Ironic coming from the guy who spends the majority of his time on ISH attacking Kobe/Lebron stans.
And there's a difference between friendly bantering and idiotic trolling.

Another posting who missed the whole point and only has Lebron on the mind

When you combine sports and the internet/social media, you're going to get irrational discussion. A lot of it lol.

Sports fandom has not, and will never be rational.

Did you miss the rest of the thread where I said I put Lebron fans in the same category?

Again, if you believe that this whole schtick is to defend Lebron then you did not get the whole point all together. You're basically reading into this as a Lebron hater.

people should never take forums seriously. People act out and say outrageous things
