She should declare herself as a male (that is if she's a hermaphrodite) if she wants to play in the NBA. No way a woman should play in the NBA (not saying that there's a woman good enough to play in the NBA). Not being sexist but it's a professional league for men only. If they allow women to play in the NBA, we may as well allow women to play in other leagues such as the NFL, MLB, Premier League, La Liga, etc. That would be stupid.
