View Full Version : Does Miami make playoffs next year if Bron leaves?

People may think this is a silly thread, but is it? If Bron leaves that means Wade won't be able to get away with sitting out half the season, meaning his body is probably completely broken by the All Star break if not sooner. That would leave Bosh as Miami's number one guy, and while he can put up good numbers as the man, we all know those numbers don't lead to wins. 3 playoff wins in 7 years?! Embarrassing!
I don't think Lebron will leave, but if he does I could see the Heat turning into the 2010-2011 Cavs. :confusedshrug:

T-Dot knows Bosh is too soft to carry a team. The weird-jawed, herpes infested, dead-beat "dad" wade is a fossil. Ray Allen ain't sh*t. The Birdman is like 46 years old. Miami is nothing without LeBron. Their coach sucks too.

Considering Bosh once led Anthony Parker, TJ Ford, Jorge Garbajosa, Juan Dixon, rookie Bargnani, Fred Jones, Morris Peterson, Rasho Nesterovic, 2nd year Jose Calderon, Joey Graham, and Luke Jackson to 47 wins (which would've been the 5th seed this year, 1 win away from the 3rd seed)....yeah, he could lead Miami to the playoffs.

Be honest, you don't have a clue who most of those guy are, do you?

People acting like Riley's gonna sit around not doing anything if Bron leaves? Offense probably involves Bosh more, Wade takes a paycut, and Riley makes moves :confusedshrug:

Nice deflection. :lol You obviously know I'm right. If you aren't going to contribute to the thread with intelligent discussion I am going to have to ask you to leave though.

Oh get out of here. Miami is trash for another 20 years when Bron leaves. Tim Duncan will win more playoff games this Sunday than Miami will in the next 5 years if Bron leaves this offseason.

If bron leaves they will have the salary to sign a few free agents this year. wont be a horrible team. They would make the playoffs, shit maybe even make it to the second round
The Cavs probably thought this as well, yet they still haven't been able to get back to the playoffs. :confusedshrug:
Just highlights Bron's greatness even more that he was able to carry such a garbage franchise to back to back 60 win seasons!

How many years ago was that? For some reason people refuse to admit that Bosh has declined. I don't know why, even I can admit that Lebron has slightly declined. Big men happen to decline faster than perimeter players, so I really don't see any way that current Bosh as the man could lead a team to 47 wins. :confusedshrug:

Bosh's decline began the second he stepped on the floor with LeBron. Aiding The Chosen One in his quest to win titles as easily as possible, with minimal stress, has its drawbacks.

Plus, (s)he's Christina Bosh! What's Bosh going to do? Shoot 3's? Shoot jumpers? He's certainly not going to go on the block and win a game for you. He's too soft for that.

Best poster in this thread so far. :applause: Backing up his posts with facts instead of empty rhetoric.

Fred Jones got traded for Juan Dixon. Garbajosa, who played well defensively, got a serious leg injury during a game against Boston and missed the rest of the season and playoffs. He was never the same after that. Graham had to start in place and he basically played the same way in the 07 playoffs the same way Terrence Ross played for the Raptors in the 14 playoffs.

Parker, Ford, and Calderon actually stepped very well. Bargnani wasn't ready either. Morris Peterson fell out of favour with Sam Mitchell for whatever reason. Funny enough, Luke Jackson had a 30 points in the final regular season game for the Raptors. Rasho was Rasho.

Besides, current Bosh isn't going to be leading a team to the playoffs unless he's got the correct team around him.

The Heat won a title before LeBron got here and made the second round with a rookie Wade. If LeBron leaves (which he won't), the Heat are still one of the top organizations in the league and have arguably the GOAT GM.

Op has been in full damage control lately, complete meltdown mode :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

Well if they go out and buy a few decent players with the salary room Bran would leave behind they would quite easily make the playoffs, probably top 4 in the East.

Not like there's a good option for him anyways lol. Even if melo wants to play with him i doubt there will be cap space for the both of them.

Bosh ain't soft. He plays with a lot of heart. He just can't do much when he's 3rd after Lebron and Wade.

I think Bosh is better now. He might have to get back into rhythm before he could be a star again, but he's got that potential.

He probably knows now that he doesnt need to get 25 ppg in order to be good. Like he said in that article he was obsessed with 20 and 10. He's come up big so many times for them lol it's amazing that you can say he's declined. He literally won the only game they won in this series for them.
