I remember mid way through the season, people were talking about Randle potentially going as high as number 2. People were talking about him being the safest bet to be a 20/10 player in the nba... Then the Embiid hype started and no longer was randle the best big in the draft..

Nah, Embiid didn't "steal" Randle's hype, he earned his own, while Randle lost his. Embiid's 7'1" frame, 265 pounds, 7'6" wingspan, athletic abilities, and natural skills aren't the reason for Randle's T-Rex arms and lack of height.

Embiid stole Wiggins' hype to an extent. That's about it.

apparently there's suppose to be a bunch of superstars from this draft but no one ever talks about Marcus Smart. He's going to be a stud.

I don't recall Randle ever being considered a Top 3 option in this draft. Maybe before the season started, but when people caught a glimpse of the 7'1, 250 pound Embiid and his skillfull use of that 9'5+ reach and 7'5 wingspan?

Come on.

You don't remember? For weeks espn had randle, Wiggings and Jabari as the top 3, and would have a comparison on the front page.

I have high hopes for Embiid too. I really think him and Davis could be the best two future bigs in this league. Will see how it plays out.

I'm enamored with his potential. That is a far cry from being on someone's "dick." :oldlol:

I don't get the "in Cleve" part either. Even if the Cavs don't pick him, I'll feel the same way about his limitless potential.

It's like people can't express their opinions on this board without the troops coming out of the woodwork ready to label you "stan" or jump on your back if the guy doesn't translate immediately.

Yes, I think Embiid is the best pure center prospect from Shaq. I'm not afraid to go out on a limb with it. If I'm wrong, I'll have zero problem admitting it.
