only way that happens is if Wade averages 25 and Bosh averages 20... would James really be the GOAT? We all know James isn't going to average 35 like MJ would have.

Try again. The GOAT has 2 3-Peats. LeBron will only have 1 if that happens. He still has a ton of catching up to do.

MJ never lost either. LeBron* is already 50/50 in the finals.... soon to be 2/5.

I would definitely be impressed, and he would go up some spots for me. But GOAT? He's too inconstant in terms of willing his team to a win. That kind of kills things in terms of ranking.

straight up
No, nothing in sports is ever unanimous and let's be realistic...it's very unlikely it'll happen anyway. The Spurs have figured them out... back to back blow outs on the Heat's home court. It's over, Miami isn't beating the Spurs 3 straight times, this isn't hockey.

Jordan is unanimously the GOAT. Only extreme haters would disagree.

I see him passing Dr J and West in my list. So either 11 or 10. Not sure how my rankings are....
Lets see.
Jordan
Kareem
Russell
Magic
Kobe
Bird
Wilt
Shaq
Duncan
Hakeem
Lebron
West
Dr. J
Issiah
If he 3-peats. So 11/10 right there with Hakeem.

I agree with others in saying that it wouldn't to a large amount of people. You'll never have a unanimous GOAT.
What it would do is create history that will never be ignored in being able to say that they were the first team to actually do this in the Finals. So Lebron would be remembered for turning the series around. So it's still a major feat and something that would be highly celebrated but in no way would it make him the GOAT.

I'm curious, why put Lebron over guys who never let their team go down 3-1 to begin with?

if he plays 4 on 5
or 5 on 5+AC
we'll consider it.
