This guy is going to be a total bust. I'd be shocked if he lasts more than 2 seasons in the NBA as a bench player.

His actual basketball ability is very underwhelming. What position can he play? His stroke sucks and he has terrible handles.

Oh, but he can dunk.

he could probably play the 1-3 tbh.

Hes about 6'6 with long arms. I think he would be best at pg though

good handles, great stroke, pretty good bbal iq. Reminds me of a westbrook/kobe hybrid

some people play professional basketball U.S. or overseas
others join the Harlem Globetrotters and enjoy a lovely life of its own.

Haha leave it to ISH to not understand draft picks and their strengths/weaknesses. Lavine has an insane stroke and is his next best strength after his ridiculous athleticism. After that, it's the fact that he's a combo guard at around 6'5 that considers himself a PG but can play both the 1 and 2.

The only thing you are right about is that he needs to work on his handles, but I wouldn't say that they're terrible by any means. And of course with most young players he does/will have issues with defense and physicality.

His actual basketball ability is quite impressive but it's his potential that makes him such a high pick despite a seemingly underwhelming season at UCLA to the casual fan. Whether or not he turns out to be a bust is left unknown.

He doesn't have defense issues just like most other young players though, he's thin with a very narrow frame. He's going to have big trouble staying in front of guys and not get bullied at the rim because of that.

hes 6'6 with long arms. I dont see any guard bullying him. maybe guys like harden and westbrook but thats it

Just look at these arms. If he builds a little muscle and improves his jumper... watch out. This guy will be a beast if he has the right work ethic. I love his potential.

He's thin and narrow, here are some NCAA guards bullying him to the rim:

Lots of work to do in the weight room and on all parts of defense.

How's his defense? He has the length and athleticism to be a Tony Allen type.

:oldlol: he's 6'6 with 6'8 arms.

thats nothing impressive from a length standpoint at all.

I'd be perfectly fine with him at 11, one of the guys I want if nobody drops. Be different if he had a few years at college and still hadn't put it together but I mean for a freshmen as a raw project he didn't do that awful, certainly didn't do good either tho. Potential combo guard, super athletic all around, has the ability to shoot.

Risky but I'd rather take the risk on him and hope it pays off rather than play it safe with a guy like Gary Harris. Nuggets need to take a chance.

hes got thin shoulders so his arms are pretty damn long for a 6'8 wingspan
