Obviously, once he gets his money he'll drop off. He's playing for a payday.

He'll go to the Heat when they fail to realize Melo. Thus spoke LeBron.

Why not both? Bosh and Wade can take 1 mil a piece.

No one is going to throw that money at him. Honestly, in another system....he wouldn't be as effective. He has the perfect set up in SA. He's not leaving.

Diaw won't leave, but if he went to Indiana that would certainly make them a better team. The Pacers could create the cap space to sign him by releasing Scola (non-guaranteed contract), renouncing Evan Turner, and then releasing Copeland via the stretch provision (to clear out another 2 million in cap space).

If Cleveland was smart, they would offer him 3 years, $27 million. He would make them better as well. They have the cap space to sign him.

Toronto has cap space to sign him, and he would certainly upgrade the skill level with their bigs.

Otherwise, he could come back to Atlanta (the team that originally drafted him and where he played for one season). 3 years, $27 million. He knows Ferry and Budenholzer.

But I don't think there is any chance he leaves the Spurs.

Gotta overpay to get free agents.

If he was in shape, about 20 pounds less, then he would be worth 12 million per year.

But as he is not in shape, then 9 million per year is overpaying him.

He wouldn't even consider leaving unless he got some really big offer.

But again, I don't think there is any chance of Diaw leaving San Antonio.

You mean the Heat will settle for Melo once they fail to get Diaw :pimp:

I was brushing my teeth when I read this. Then I spit all my toothpaste out because of this post. All the lulz at a GM paying Diaw 12 mil a year EVER.
