Dude is like the little kid who plays steet fighter all day only to lose to his friends and act like it he never cared about it because its "just a video game"
With this type of mentality, it's tough to imagine them digging down deep and pulling out 3 straight wins.

Did that in 2011, then pouted and in true petty fashion brought up his financial status compared to everyday people who critique his basketball play, or competitiveness. I hate when he does passive aggressive stuff like that, it's very feminine.

Yeah he'll never live up to Michael "I like baseball better" Jordan's love/passion for the game.

Taking his words out of context.
He said he puts everything into the game, however at the end of the day, it's just a game.
Before he won two championships, back to back, he probably took losses way harder than he does now.
When you're the best player in the league and give it your all, you can sleep easy at night.

I spoke about this in another thread..
If he were winning..there wouldn't be any of this self reflection babble. Guy is the ultimate front-runner.

Tell that to Larry Bird: "It's not that like winning that much, it's that I HATE losing."

I always kinda thought attitude wise LeBron was a little like Shaq in this way, they play to have fun and do get upset when they lose but they don't view it as the end of the world or whatever.
As a leader of the team though I don't think you should say something like that publicly even if its how you feel.

Jordan couldn't stay away from the game. Came back as a physically incapable 39 year old, potentially destroying a storybook ending, and also taking his all time stats down a notch or two. Yea, he didn't love basketball. I know you're "semi-trolling" but seriously?

I think it kinda is just a sign of the times though, kids are coddled a bit more these days, I don't think you'll see many obsessive competitors like Russell, Jordan, Bird, Magic, etc. in the league that often. Kobe and Duncan are maybe the last of that trend.
Plus all these guys grow up together attending all the same basketball camps and whatever, so they're all buddies off the court.

Raised by his mother with no father cant really blame him for having feminine tendencies :confusedshrug:
Kobe and Jordan both had dad in their life a lot of things effect basketball players even the way they grew up.Everything matters
