2006 Wade $3,031,920
2007 Parker $9,450,000
2008 Pierce $16,360,094
2009 Kobe $21,262,500
2010 Kobe $23,034,375

And they have him for one more year guaranteed still at less the price than what Billups was paid back in 04.

Built not bought?
Is getting the Finals MVP qualified for extra $ under the Derrick Rose Rules?
I know MVPs, All-Stars, All-NBA team appearances do but I don't remember seeing F-MVP mentioned.
Maybe they'll make "the Kawhi Leonard Rule" after this.

Pop can't hold him back anymore, Kawhi is gonna get paid $$$$$$$$$$ :pimp:
So Wade and Leonard were under their rookie contracts? :applause:
Who else has done that?
I think Magic was too back in like 1980 or 81. Rookie contracts were probably a lot different back then though.

Bird would have been under his rookie contract too if he didn't lose the award to Maxwell.

Spurs have quite the eye for talent. Will not be surprised if Patty Mills or Splitter ends up winning FMVP next year
