27 games to lose 16 games in NBA Finals games played. It took Kobe 38 games to lose 15 games in NBA finals games played. Let that sink in.

Put Kobe on the LeBron Cav's, he'd probably win 15 games in his 7 years over there. :oldlol:

And went 2-1 in those 3 finals.

Meanwhile, Lebron is 2-3 as the alpha and cost his team in 2011. :lol

no one is as good as and certainly not better than Michael Jordan. BTW,
Tim has lost ten games in the finals.

Kobe would of got them a 2nd seed as well in 07 not to mention defeat the "amazing" Wizards three times.

Weak ass eastern conf. :oldlol: :oldlol: :oldlol:

Sure, he would. He would need Shaq/Gasol to do it though. Oh, and with MB as the HC...:oldlol:

that is the thing I do not understand about LBJ fans. They will take stats over a win any day. If LBJ scored 75 and his team lost they are thrilled. :wtf:

Wade is sucking in the whole finals. next year Heat's starting shooting guard is 20 yrs.old KJ Daniels. Welcome back to this forum after a near 3 years hiatus.

Correct, but he didn't step his game up in the Finals. He stayed about the same, he slightly actuall regressed becuase he averaged more turnovers than assists for the entire series.

LeBron stayed the same, Wade regressed, Bosh regressed

A bunch of Spurs players stepped it up in the Finals.

He still put up better numbers than Durant against the same Spurs team, but the heat didn't have a player that was good as Russell Westbrook in this series. Wade being the 2nd scoring option only scored 11 points in a do or die elimination game.

No he wasn't. Before the Spurs series tons of people were like "Wade looks like the Wade of old.

That is unless...

20/5/4 on 55% FG% vs. Pacers
18/4/4/ on 51% FG% vs Nets
18/4/3 on 49% FG% vs. Bobcats

...is complete sucking?

Grant it, he had a horrible Finals, but go back 5 games ago and all I heard about was how Wade stepped up and has gotten better throughout the playoffs.

I'm not talking about Durant or Westbrook, I'm talking about LeBron. While he was far and above the best offensive player in this series, he still didn't turn it up and put it into another gear. He played about his season averages for the most part, while turning the ball over a ton more...

yep ....that one last year, very hard to take. I did forget to take this years one loss into account though. Tim has lost 11. IF they had closed out game 6 last year though, Tim would have 6 champioships with a 24-9 record in the finals. Instead he has 5 champioships and a 23-11 record in the final. ceste la vi

1999 Spurs won 4-1
2003 Spurs won 4-2
2005 Spurs won 4-3
2007 Spurs won 4-0
2013 Spurs lost 3-4
2014 Spurs won 4-1

It became Wade's team again in the 2011 Finals while James purposely held back so they could try to gt Wade an FMVP.

James is 2-2 as the alpha.

Has Kobe even been the best player on his team for 16 finals games?

Has Kobe even been the best player in the league for 16 games?

Will Kobe even play 16 games next year?

thanks but not back for long. I am already shaking my head at some of the stuff I read. When abbs left and Crisnor was thinking about , well, too many of the old guys ducking out and moving on took the fun out of it. We had some great days back in the early 2000's before the board moved though. Fam threads and avatar bets. Most people were more respectful of each other and almost everything was all in good fun. I am too old to take crap from some keyboard warrior who is younger than most of my kids. lol. I do like to peak in from time to time to see who is still here and what is going in though. Saw MFD yesterday, Kent , a couple of the old Laker group. Some of the old guard still going. I will enjoy it while it lasts but likely fade away again soon. Like visiting the school you graduated from 20 years later. The walls are the same but everything else is different.

For some reason it sure looked that way. Wade was ass in the ECF against the Bulls, but in the Finals he handled the ball much more than usual compared to the 3 EC series prior.
