Somehow he managed to shut down the entire Miami Heat roster. The hype is real, he shut down every single position, a true 1-5 defensive juggernaught
Wow a non-troll thread from cavsftw looks like hell is freezing over. I have him in firmly in my top 10 now.

Lets talk about brans GOAT tier defense this finals
How would you react if Lebron returned to Cleveland?

He wasn't too bad in games 1, 2, 5 (though he spent more time on Parker than KL in this game), but in 3 & 4 (both in Miami), Leonard hit a bunch of jumpers in his face.

Also I find it funny that a Wilt stan is saying this since the #1 thing they do to defend his shortcomings is bring up his teammates fg%.

Trolling aside, if Lebron wants to prove that he is an elite defender and win DPOY's, he will need to prove it on the biggest stage.
Leonard has lit him up ever since game 2.
Lebron's defense is very overrated. His sample size for good defense is way too inconsistent.

What about it? :confusedshrug:
Lebron didn't individually guard Rose. It was a collective swarming defense which set traps and honed in on Rose. There was very little offensive help, so the Heat were able to trap him at will.
Parker was injured last year towards the end of the series and his speed was clearly affected. Lebron gets away with alot of physicality when he defends people. Hence why he hardly ever gets into foul trouble.

...Maybe this year, but the Heat entire team was bad defensively.
2011-2013 he was elite as was the rest of the team. 2014 he dropped off with the entire roster.
