Shaquille O'neal is overrated.

The more I look at it I have to think that Shaq is overrated as ****.

He has played with Penny, Nick Van Exel, Steve Nash, Amare Stoudemire, Kobe Bryant, LeBron James, Dwyane Wade. NEVER had a bad or even an average team besides him and all he can show for us are four rings that three was with the greatest player of the 00s decade and even then they were one or two plays from being left with one ring only. And the other ring was a complete rig for the series by the NBA giving Wade a million of FTs on phantom calls.

Don't get me wrong, his peak is up there, 00 finals are legendary to say the least, but he got spanked by Hakeem in his first trip to the finals, as a leader has been swept multiple times in his prime with a very good team around him too.

Let's not also forget the massive ego. The time he quit on Miami by faking an injury. The time he came in overweight. The time he demanded 30 million while being old.

He's not overrated in terms of his impact and direct wins of his play.



But he has seriously under achieved though.

And I thimk if he could do it all again he'll do the same thing and be OK with it. Hes not the type to sacrifice his life and food and fun to win, like Kobe mj ray Allen etc.

Shaq was overrated by the league since they let him elbow defenders in the face and body block them out of bounds. I wonder if they'd let him play like that nowadays or if his fat ass would be on the bench in the first two minutes. Dwight sucks compared to Shaq, but whenever he tries to move people with his strength it's an instant whistle and he was a media darling before he left Orlando so you'd think he'd be the golden boy. I remember Shaq getting whistled for lacks of ticky tack fouls when he was on Phoenix and Cleveland, but he wasn't exactly the first option.
