Good. These non defense playing stars are getting tiring. Nobody is asking you to become Payton, but you cant be a complete liability on that end.

I'm always surprised that you don't ever hear any Gary Payton as a head coach talk

The amount of smack Gary would talk to

A. His Players
B. Opposing Coaches
C. Opposing Players
D. The Fans

Silver would have to fine him every 10 minutes and the team would have to put psychologists on retainer to deal with the bruised egos :lol

Whip him into place I hope. Damian is currently playing like a scrub, all offence no defence, whilst GP was the best all round PG and maybe player ever. I hate how cocky Lillard is, especially after he slung out those horrible raps. If he keeps up his play style he'll be out of the league within 3 years, GP can salvage it.

That boi in your avatar needs GP also, dude killed his squad this year with his flopping and horrible defence and it resulted in a first round exit and his coach getting axed. Curry is a snake, he should be out of the league but got the coach to take the hit. Kerr won't have it though.

He's gonna teach him how to foul out within 10 minutes every game using defense from his era.

I was going to bold the part I didn't agree with, but this entire comment is one giant wad of shit, the whole thing would've been bolded. So I'll go with colors.

Orange: He's a scrub for, in his 2nd season, leading his team to the same record as the 2x defending champs and putting up 26/6/7/1 on 67% TS in a series that got his team out of the first round for the first time in 14 years?

Green: He literally has zero case for being the best all around player ever. I don't care if opinions can't be wrong...you're wrong.

Blue: He's not cocky at all, actually. One of the, if not the most mature players for his age.

Red: :biggums:

:coleman: Someone post the stat of Curry's +/- in the playoffs...

But yes, Steph has to work on his shot selection and defense.

Orange: Yes, he is, LMA carried that team, Lopez was the anchor on D and Batum sacrificed his play so Lillard could have the spotlight.

Green: Best peremiter defender ever, averaged 20 PPG 7 times, led the league in steals, 3's, is amongst the greatest rebounding guards ever, could pass, shoot, drive, handle, need I go on. Deserved an MVP on 1999/2000 if it wasn't for Stern fixing it so Shaq won.

Blue: Did you see his face after that shot? If GP hit that he'd have congratulated the opposition and been a man, not do this;

Red: We will talk in 3 years.

To T_L_P. Browski, Kerr was the soul of the second 3 peat, you ever see him lock Stockton?

Respect.

More of these nba players should reach out to past legends imo.

Guys like jordan, bird and magic could certainly help an up and coming star to play the right way.

He's never going to be a defensive monster, but he definitely needs to improve to become better than a traffic cone on the defensive end. This is good news, hopefully GP can help :applause:
