Keep hearing all this talk about the Spurs winning 5 titles, i believe it was 5 in 14 years
Lakers won 5 in 10 years. So I wish everybody in the media shut up about how great they are when the last title was in 2007. Plus they could never repeat

is this thread real? Like what thought process did your brain go through to actually think this was even a legitimate thread to post on a forum.

All about that longevity. Some teams are great for a few years then they suck. Spurs are great forever.

stop using the word GREAT because they were missing from the finals 5 years in a row
Lakers reached the Finals 7 times in 10 years
Spurs reached the Finals 5 times in 14 years

Repeating or three-peating is overrated.

Is this stuff for real? Like there is a huge difference between 7 in 10 and (ahem) 6 in 15?
Both teams have been great. The spurs have been legit title contenders for 14 or 15 seasons. Every season. That's impressive.

Repeating or three-peating is overrated.
It's more difficult than overrated.
In any case, the Spurs getting into the Finals period two years in a row was a switch up and something new for them.

3-peating is almost impossible.
Mad props to them spurs.
They have had the longest shelf life of any team in the last 15 years.
