We talk about efficiency and teammates a lot, and I was wondering if LBJ could win a Game 7 finals while shooting 6 for 24?

I don't think Lebron has the ability to get off 24 shots. He only takes a shot when he knows he can get it off.

He is not the type that can make any shot on the court.

The more shots Lebron shoots the more chances it is likely a turnover or someone blocks it.

Anyways, I don't think he can get that many shots off unless someone passes to him when he is open.

Maybe if he plays in the last 7 minutes, he would have a chance :confusedshrug:

no way, he has nearly zero intangibles. its what you see on the stat sheet - 2 quarters

With this years Heat team, not a chance. Wade and Bosh ain't bailing LeBron out when he's off his game like Gasol and Artest did for Kobe

Hell no... he could even go 24 of 24 in one of these last 3 Finals games and it would not guarantee him a win, Spurs were blowing them out no matter what Lebron did.

Yes. It all depends on how the game plays out. Like if the Celtics also get shut down...like they did.

He can get 6 steals and 24 assists and they could lose

Probably not. When he has his single digit scoring performances in the playoffs, he tends to lose.

Its impossible to have single digits if you made 6 shots from 24 attempts :facepalm

Let's use some bbal reference then, quiet the haters and their comments that make no sense:

LeBron James NBA Finals stats:

2014

9/17
14/22
9/14
10/17
10/21 *Close, LBJ actually made 4 more shots though, and on 3 less attempts :lol And no, they didn't win that game.

Well darn, that pesky LeBron already made 6 shots or more each game, and didn't need 24 attempts to do it! Will we ever know? Let's check 2013 and see if he was bad enough to manage sinking only 6 field goals on 24 attempts.

2013

7/16
7/17
7/21
15/25
8/22
11/26
12/23 *Oh wait, a game 7! But LeBron took 1 less shot than Kobe's 24, AND made twice as many shots :lol

Well darn again, that pesky LeBron already made 6 shots or more each game, and didn't need 24 attempts to do it! Will we ever know? I guess we can check 2012 Finals and see if he was bad enough to manage sinking only 6 field goals on 24 attempts.

2012

11/24
10/22
11/23
10/20
9/19

Dang! This LerBronze guy just doesn't seem to like to only make 6 field goals. Guess we will never know...If only he had the killer instinct to shoot 6 for 24.

Kobe is still king of living in haters heads:lol Nope, Bran isn't versatile enough to dominate on a off shooting night like Kobe Rodman in Game 7.

LeBron clearly lacks the killer instinct to shoot 6 for 24 in a Game 7 Finals

Artest put up 20 with 5 steals, and I think Gasol scored 19 with 18 rebounds. I think LBJ might literally kill someone to have an elite defender scoring 20 with 5 steals and Bosh putting up 19 and 18. IMO of course. But I finally see it after all these years and how people talk about Kobe's killer instinct to shoot away and attack and LBJ just doesn't have the killer instinct to shoot 6 for 24. They were right the whole time. He just doesn't have it in him.

You understand that Lebron's had a game in the finals where he had 8 points on 27% shooting...while Wade had 32 points and Bosh had 24, right? Literally if Lebron just barely cracked double digits, say 11-12 points, they would've won.

Shhh, you're not supposed to mention some new, actual thought provoking evidence because it completely throws off the Lebron stans agenda.

Wait a minute, so are you telling me Bron shot a slightly higher FG% and his team still lost? Cray. I was asking if they could WIN, not lose. Thanks, though. Didn't know LBJ choked vs the Mavs, it's my first day here...:facepalm

8 points. He had 8 points and his team only lost by 3 in the NBA finals. You're climaxing over Kobe's fail game of 23/15, but defending 8 points...merely on the basis that Kobe was "carried" to a win and Lebron wasn't.

Newsflash kiddo, if Lebron just marginally upped his game from dogshit to garbage, his team would've won. His teammates can only carry so much.

Luckily for the premise of this thread, he didn't. So go ahead with your retarded agenda.

Oh, you mean if he had a guy average 20/11/4 with 2 blocks? Well imagine the Luxury Kobe had then.

If I recall correctly in that Game 7 where Killer InstinctBe shot 6 for 24, I think Artest poured in 20 w/ 5 steals, and Gasol poured in 19 with 18 rebounds. It's a good thing Mr. Killer Instinct had a good supporting cast to save his ass in the biggest game of "clutch lol" Kobe's career, or he could've been 1/7 with Finals MVPs :lol

Wrong, for a few reasons.

First, LBJ shot better than 25%, and secondly, his team didn't win. I think you're confused. ESL student in the house?

So you're saying he'd need to take 13 more shots and only hit 3 to tie Killer Instinct ClutchBe's record? Interesting. Something tells me if he took 13 more shots away from Gison they wouldn't win. Also was this a game 7 of the NBA Finals where, you know, the "clutch" people come to play their best and pull out their clutch killer instinct genes?

"Stans" are so entertaining.

Kobe stans trying to act like his 6 for 24 performance was good because he had 15 rebounds. He almost shot the team out of the game. They needed to make a comeback because he was playing horrible.

And Lebron stans....trying to defend his 2011 Finals. :oldlol:

Odom 3-8

Dude, box score watchers are stupid, don't even bother with them.

EVERYONE came out jittery. The first quarter was full of bricks from both teams.

Kobe eventually got his shit together and played great in the fourth. The end.

What. In these Finals alone, he had several of those moments where he was just feeling it and launched the most random shot attempts.
