instead of one of the greatest NBA franchises the Los Angeles Lakers, how would his career have unfolded?

He would demand a trade instantly like he did with the Hornets. He's less loyal than Lebron

People forget he was drafted by Charlotte and was never gonna play in a small market.

His stats would be inflated and they would be winning rings.

I consider players lucky to be drafted by small market teams because there aren't any pressures. For Kobe to excel with the Lakers says a lot. He would have no problem in Cleveland.

Imagine a mental midget, 1st rounder gets drafted to the Lakers, that will hinder their development and possibly causing them to be a bust.

Kobe was actually very unfortunate to be drafted because of the pressure but he is a one of a kind player to excel at challenges.

Imagine Kwame Brown getting drafted by the Lakers? He couldn't even cut it on the lowly Wizards with no pressure.

:oldlol: To be fair, the Hornets really wanted Divac that year. Pretty sure they would want a Cav player for him in 03 as well. :lol

Would still have a better career than LeBron. Probably better, cause people wouldnt hold the whole Shaq thing against him. I can see him winning bare minimum two rings as the man of his own team, which would put him about where LeBron is right now. More likely he wins more, not to mention how much further ahead he would be in all time scoring lists, 40 point games, 30 point games, etc. etc.

One things for sure....He isn't coming close to 60 wins from '03-'10 and he's damn sure not matching LeBron's production in that span. LeBron was having seasons on the tier of Wilt and Jordan. His best shot would be colluding in 2011. Whether he would recruit or flock. His choice.

He could of had a chance to win maybe one ring.

No idea, but it would be completely different from Lebron, because they are completely different players. With Lebron you want to space the floor with shooters to play a drive and kick type of game, however with Kobe you want a post player or inside scorer to play a nice inside out game.

Any organization would build a completely different team around Kobe than they would Lebron

To guess rings it would be impossible because we don't know who the Cavs would get on their team, but assuming they put players that fit Kobe's style like the Cav organization did with Lebron then Kobe wins at least 3 rings

He doesn't win anything in Cleveland, and one title at best with the Heat.

he would say he won't play for the Cavs and would only play for LA.

the Lakers would give the Cavs somebody to trade for Kobe.

the end.

he would average 40-7-7 for those years and lead his team to multiple chips.

He'd be somewhere between Antoine Jamison and Tracy McGrady.

Carlos Boozer never bolts.

Kobe/Boozer/Big Z are title threats from 07 on

Even if Boozer doesnt stay we would hear about how the cavs have the best front court in the league because of their incredible depth of having Big Z, Shaq, Andy V, Jaminson, Leone Powe & J.J Hickson on the same team. "Most stacked front court of all time with that depth" is what they'd say.

And the years later we'd hear about how the cavs teams were so stacked that Danny green the same who who has lit up Kobes teams in the finals for the last 2 years was cut because there was no room on such a stacked team.

Plus all star point guard Mo Williams & 6th man of the year contender delonte west? Shit Kobe is on a stacked team
