Yep.
Too bad Arison was too cheap to keep him.

Why would they waste their fcuking amnesty clause on his contract anyways?
What was his contract even like?
Riley's an idiot. Overrated ass.

Dont say something idiotic and then call others idiots.

so that gut instinct of getting Mike Miller on the team was actually the right thing to do?
well, I'll be damned.

Yeah no. Miller wasn't even in Miami's rotation for most of his Final season with the Heat. Dude played good in a grand total of 2 Finals games, and in one of them the Heat lost by 36 points.
I loved the guy, but people are overrating his contributions to the Heat.

Scoring isn't everything - Miller is a good passer, rebounder, ball handler, and a good shooter.

Sometimes a guy just needs to be nothing more than a "threat"

Chill. Amnestying Miller saved them $15 million in luxury tax.
That's a lot of fcking money when you think about it.

One could argue for winning and making profit, although in no way Miami lost just because of Miller's absence.

Miller played like 4 good games a year. The Heat did what was needed

the Spurs were gonna crush the Heat whether Miller was there or not this year.
It was inevitable.

Or we can think that, that's 15 million in luxury tax we are paying for towards Lebron Bradshaw James
I mean. Lebran James

Mike Miller over Beasley.
They made room for Beasley & Oden, & guess what? No solid minutes whatsoever.

well,
they signed
Michael Beasley
Toney Douglas
Greg Oden and company
so lets just say they cut Mike Miller for Beasley
sounds fair?
good.
just don't tell me they could have signed Beasley and kept Miller.
I'm not sure if I am able to comprehend that.
I mean, at least the guy who's negotiating against Lebron/Wade/Bosh and company would at LEAST have something in their deck.
although knowing Lebron's past history.
Not even sure if it would have mattered unless he had a friendship with Mike Miller that others didn't know of.

did you know that Derek Fisher averaged less than double digits and shot less than .400% on his last championship run with the Lakers?

A bit off topic but IMO, Spo should've put Beasley in their rotation especially when Bran is getting a breather. The guy could create his own shot and has a good efficiency when he's on the floor. Plays not great but good D and can also knock down jumpers.
I'm really curious what's the main reason he didn't utilize B-Eazy.

Beasly should have gotten play time the entire playoffs. He creates mismatches like crazy. Spo. :facepalm

you are underrating Diaw by comparing him to miller. Diaw is so skilled at passing that it alone puts him ahead of miller.

Diaw - better defender, better passer.
Miller - better shooter, better ballhandler.
Both are still good at the other things - Miller is a solid rebounder and passer.
But Miller was the glue guy the Heat were lacking. And on offense, he was enough of a threat to help space out the floor a little better for LBJ, Bosh, Allen, Wade.
