Derrick Rose coming back to take whats rightfully his. and he wont be a 22 year old kid anymore, in october, he will be a 26 year old man with a son. My condolences and deepest sympathies.

The Lebron fans are worried about Durant. And pic course the Spurs. No one thinks about Rose anymore.

I just hope he can stay healthy for a whole season.

I'm a fan of Rose, I hope he comes back a top 10 player like he once was.

I want rose back, dude is an absolute joy to watch.
Also it'd be great if he can shut up some of the Westbrook dickriders.

Good joke. Derrick Rose's knees are done. Gonna be worst than wade in a few years.

I really hope derrick comes back in great form, one of my favorite players to watch :applause: I can seriously see the bulls being the atleast the 2nd seed next year if he performs, I mean they won 48 games with basically no deng or rose, and if they end up getting a big free agent they're gonna be a scary team.

As for the bron thing, last time they met in a meaningful game this happened...

westbrook > rose

This is why I wanted OKC in the Finals. To see Westbrook shit on LeBron again :oldlol:

though this time LeBrons supporting cast probably wouldn't have played like gods and OKC would have won in 5-6 games.

you mean the east will finally have a second team thats great news!! and the heat are getting older and more useless. i predict next season to be a new era where new teams will rise

Im worried he may be this generations Penny Hardaway. His style of play is so hard on the knees, my concern is that he keeps re-injuring them. I hope I'm wrong, but he's missed two seasons already. Im a Bulls fan and im praying he can return to form.

I'm rooting for him to come back. Hope he can even play at least 80% percent of what he was.

Good joke. Derrick Rose's knees are done. Gonna be worst than wade in a few years.

Different though. Wade got the bandaid surgery, that is why he is suffering now. Rose got the full procedure and actually followed a correct rehab timeline. He should be 100%. Any other issues, and its just not in the cards for him. But I expect him to be lethal again.

Probably the fastest player I've ever seen with my own two eyes, pre-injury. It was a red f*cking blur chugging around the Garden parquet.

That said, he hasn't played meaningful basketball in two years. Very much a wait-and-see thing with him but I wish him all the best.

His style of play is so hard on the knees
How?

I'm still highly dissapointed in him missing the playoffs these past 2 years.

He missed the "standard" recovery time for most athletes with his injuries (ACL and Meniscus) and did this with unlimited resources and trainers at his disposal...

Meanwhile Westbrook is having injury setbacks, having to get ANOTHER surgery and STILL shattering the standard recovery time for his initial injury just to play in the regular season...

Rose skipping out on the playoffs was it for me. I was a fan of his before then but to do that two years in a row is a bitch move. Especially when you are going to come out in the preseason the following year and play 30+ minutes a night.

How?

He has one of the most violent running forms in the NBA because whenever he accelerates his heel strikes the ground pretty hard, almost driving into it, which may not seem like much but over time this can put a lot of stress on your knees.

Compare that to someone like Westbrook who runs light on his feet with a great form and it's a pretty noticeable difference.

I guess it's really a matter of whether or not he can change his playing style to 50-70% jump shots over driving to the basket.

I mean, I don't think he'll be the same player he ever was. Not that I think he should because it'd hurt his knees.

But there are reasons as to why I've loved Brandon Roys playing style
and why maybe playing a style similar to Roy may just extend his career.

But yup, it's the moment we've all been dreading.
