It's a great thing, but he's become the go to example of a scrub with a bunch a rings. The only time he's brought up is in a discussion with the implication like "who cares about how many rings that guy has. Horry has 7 and he's a nobody".

It got him some TV spots and lot's more fame, didn't it ?

Why would he regret it ?

Its not like hes gonna be a superstar if he goes to a rebuilding team anyway, so why not with 7 rings? Same can be said for Derek Fisher and Bruce Bowen.

No reasonable person would regret being a part of 7 rings. Lebron wants that, Kobe wants (will) get that, MJ wanted that and so on.

7 rings, few players can ever say that.

Horry is a scrub now? You are kidding, right?

Horry was a solid contributor in his first 3 NBA finals appearance. I think he averaged 17 ppg, and 10 rpg in the nba finals.

How many All-Star appearances?
How many MVPs?
How many FMVPs?

No, he isn't a scrub. That's the point. :hammerhead:

When people bring him up, they act as if he is.

It's funny because Horry was anything but a scrub. He was the ultimate role player. They don't call him Big Shot Rob for nothing.

Kobe will be the Kareem of SGs unbelievable longevity and immense scoring ability. I predict at least a 24/5/5 season from him next year, and when they land the solid draft picks that the Lakers consistently get, Kobe'll lead them to the promise land again.

Seriously OP?

Everyone knows he was a great role player, and may arguably be the best clutch player ever.

I don't think he regrets having more clutch shots in one Finals game than LeBron will likely amass in his entire career for finals elimination games, still IMO the greatest clutch Finals performance by a SA player. Pistons would've repeated were it not for him.

Kobe's been to the finals 7 times. If he was as great as some Kobe d!ckriders say he is, he'd have the 7 rings.

Oh well, maybe in another lifetime.

Horry should have choked more so that internet trolls wouldn't be using him to diss MJ's rings. :facepalm

Just when you think ISH couldn't get any dumber we get a thread questioning if a player regrets being an integral part on 7 championship teams...

100% correct. Stat suckers do not understand the game of basketball.

Seeing as Robert Horry is not a semi-retarded internet troll that uses garbage logic to support inherently idiotic positions that support some stupid agenda that the player the troll thinks they are helping actually doesn't give two shits about...and instead is actually a basketball player that got to enjoy seven championships, has a nice amount of money in the bank and can get free drinks at any bar in LA, Houston and San Antonio I believe he's quite happy with winning 7 rings.

Read that question out loud to yourself a few times and if you still think it is a reasonable question after that give yourself an uppercut.
