I've taken my time to count the statistics for Kobe Bryant against the best competition available. Took an hour and a half, I hope at least a few people will be interested :/
Please note that the FG% is skewed, because it doesn't account for amount of games in the series, so I will count the real FG% tomorrow if I get the chance to do nothing for a few hours. I'll do more NBA legend statistics like this in the future if anyone is interested

I wasn't clear on that.
Let's say we take one series where Kobe shot 10 fga and made 3, his FG% is 30
the next series he took 150 FGA and made 75, his FG% is 50
When you add up and get the average for the series it's 40, but FGAs and FGs add up to 48.8.
I'll do this shit tomorrow, I don't have the time now

Averages don't work like that, they're weighted based on how many shots were made and taken.

Using your example: 3/10 = 30%, 75/150 = 50%. Total would be 78/160 or 48.75%, not 40%.

Interesting, but I don't like these kinds of stats (I mean records) in team games.

Well that's what I'm saying lol. I just added series averages as I don't have time to count FGA and FG today.
So the FG percentages i put up in career averages and prime averages may be a little off.

Ohhh okay. So that 42.7%/44% isn't the right figure then?

The 44 is closer to the truth, I think the 42.7 figure will improve considering he barely took any shots in his first two years.

I just calculated for Tim Duncan. I'm not gonna post every single series against a 50+W team but combined numbers;

162 games
22.0 ppg / 11.8 rpg / 3.0 apg / 2.2 bpg / 0.7 spg / 2.7 tpg on .501 fg .676 ft (.548 ts) [26.15 eff]
21-10 series record

His career numbers in the playoffs for comparison;

21.3 ppg / 11.7 rpg / 3.1 apg / 2.3 bpg / 0.7 spg / 2.6 tpg on .500 fg .691 ft (.548 ts) [26.10 eff]

Those averages are wrong OP.

Here is what I got...

VS teams that won/on pace for 50+ wins:

181 games: 26.2 ppg / 5.3 rpg / 4.8 apg / 3.0 tov / .449 fg% / .328 3p% / .824 ft%

VS teams that only won 50+ games and NOT teams that were on pace for 50 wins:

168 games: 26.4 ppg / 5.2 rpg / 4.9 apg / 3.1 tov / .451 fg% / .333 3p% / .823 ft%
