Some of these people that walk by like nothing happens makes me shake my head. They can't even do a simple act of kindness because it makes them feel uncomfortable.

I noticed that as well. I couldn't help but think that it may be due to more fear. In a public place it shouldn't be an issue though.

I'd kill him, that's how we do it here in Brazil, what you don't see, doesn't exist.

seemed to be that people alone were hesitant where people traveling with somebody else were more at ease and willing to help
