I'd take Magic with Kareem
Oscar with Kareem is pretty deadly too.
Duncan and Robinson is up there

A past-his-prime Robinson and an entering-his-prime Duncan destroyed the league in 99, then they were an incredibly defensive duo for the next four years.

If you paired the two of them together in their primes, that would have been the scariest and best thing ever.

No real criteria just based on your opinion.

I'm not sure how Shaq/Kobe are number 1, given that they couldn't even stay together for the benefit of winning and instead let their egos get in the way.

So you can take Shaq and Kobe and I'll laugh at you as they split up after 6 years.

Counting the period of time that they were together, they were the best duo.

Shaq/Kobe are probably the two most dominant combo up there
them two would be drafted together over any other duos
maiinly cuz of shaq of course

Gotta put MJ/Pippen up there by default.

But if Kobe and Shaq didn't get their own egos involved they could have easily won 5-8 championships.

Definitely four if Kobe didn't suck balls in 04.

Who gives a **** about off court squabbles? :biggums:

This is about BASKETBALL and when paired together they were damn near unstoppable.

That's the problem with you Bron stans, you factor in all of this personal off court shit (except when it comes to Bron) and that has little to nothing to do with B-Ball aside from he said she said bullshit.

All that matters is performance and these guys are unmatched.

Definitely four if Kobe didn't suck balls in 04.

Or if shaq fixed his toe and wasn't outplayed by Ben Wallace.

That shit went both ways with them.

Shaq ain't no saint like his fans make him out to be.

Are people really going to exclude Stockton/Malone just because they didn't win a championship?

Yup.

refer to the double standards thread.

You guys can't just pick and choose when Rings and winning it all matters.

Malone and Stockton are great . all-time greats , but they're minor compared to the Duos who did some Legendary shit.

Same could be said for the MJ / Pip Chicago Bulls teams if Michael didn't go play baseball, and if Krause didn't break up the team in 1999.

Bulls could've competed for championships in '94, '95, '99, and possibly even 2000.

Shaq and Kobe ripped their teams apart with petty bickering, and ego clashes. 6 tangible rings trumps 3. Their 2002 ring being subject to questionable officiating.

West/Baylor were pretty damn good.

Russell/Havileck?

Dr J/M. Malone?

Those off the court sqaubbles cost the Lakers more chances at championships.

The fact is the Bulls never lost when they made it to their championships. Shaq and Kobes Lakers lost as the favorite to the Pistons.

Shaq and Kobe were flatout more dominant duo.

Idc what coulda been, Bulls coulda won 7 straight if Jordan didn't take a year off.

So what? this about what they did on the court , not off.

kobe and shaq went 15-1 in the playoffs and were over 58% of the team's scoring but they're not the greatest duo? :facepalm

jordan and pippen are number 2 soley because the difference between jordan and pippen was far greater than the distance of kobe and shaq simply because they both won without each other so you can't say that they necessarily needed each other to win it all but when they were together they were absolutely unstoppable.

More than 2nd three peat MJ and Pip? Yes. 1st three peat? Arguable. MJ, and Pip led their teams to much greater heights though.

Lol how about win? Have we dropped so far that having great stats is more important than actually winning the friggn game?

Shaq and Kobes ego also cost them a championship. Not to mention Bulls have the best record ever from game 1 to the final game in the championship.

I see how you guys think. Like losers.

How was Kobe anymore dominant than Pippen when Shaq was traded? At least kobe got some damn good players to replace Shaq. Pippen got Pete Myers.
