Hire Blatt. Draft Wiggins. Sign Pf/C in free agency (or trade for one with cap space). *Hope for LeBron. Resign Hawes and Varejao to decent contracts.

Irving
Waiters
Wiggins
Thompson
Hawes

With potentially Varejao and Waiters off thr bench if LeBron comes back, which is still a long shot.

I don't think the OP has any correlation (to my knowledge) of being a Kobe fan. OP is a Nets fan, though.

Calling LeBron "LeBronze" by his detractors (could be anybody, Jordan fan, Kobe fan, Celtics fan, etc...) is when he was on the 04 Olympic team that won the Bronze medal, not because of what he achieved his NBA career.

Now you know.

5/7>2/5 deal with it. Anyway I would package Bennett and Waiters For K. Love and draft Parker then Make a run for Lebron. Either way the team is in a good place moving forward.

Draft Embid - make sure he has the right medical staff and trainers around him to make sure he stays healthy, give him as much time as he needs to recover in the earlies, tank mode isn't on, but not neccessary to get to the playoffs.

Same for Kyrie. He's the most important part of this equation, he has alot to learn offensively, most importantly, tempo control, distribution and off the ball movement. Pick and roll will be the staple, and he still gets 18 shots a game, but he needs to learn to give others shots too.

Test Bennett, at least make sure he puts up numbers, if I don't like his training habits and performance feel out trades. Talk to Golden State about a potential Harrison Barnes/Bennett trade (best case scenario)

Move Waiters to the bench. Anarchic player, could be a great bench guy.

Hawes and Embiid can play together I think.

You would need a time machine to make the Cavs into legitimate contenders.

People constantly seem to overlook the fact that teams who win titles are OLD. Like, almost always. Maybe not always their best player, but the majority OF their players are. With the only recent exception I can think of his the Thunder.

Cavs are young AF. They're not going to actually CONTEND for a championship with this core any time in the next 3-4 years.

I agree to a certain extent. But then there are teams like the 2012 Okc Thunder who were RIGHT THERE to win it all with such a young core of Westbrook, Harden, and Durant. Irving/Wiggins or Parker and Waiters could be the Thunder of the East (the East is alot easier anyways)... or maybe im just dreaming lol

The thunder didnt win, but even then...

Westbrook > Irving
Harden > Waiters
Durant >>>>>>> Wigging/Parker

Im not arguing that we're better because clearly we aren't. But in the eastern conference the competition isnt as tough either. John Wall and Bradley Beal almost made it tl the ECF. Food flr thought...

Move the team to Akron and have Dan Gilbert sell the team.

Nene, Gortat, Ariza... Wizards starting 5 is a good one in any conference.

Trade Irving for Wade
Trade the #1 draft pick for Bosh
Sign Lebron.

Add Lebron/Parker or Embiid to Irving, TT, and Waiters that team should be in the ecf for the next 4 years.

Give every player the HGH Lebron uses, cut their pay in half, then use the extra money to pay off refs.

Slowly,

1. Sign Mark Jackson
2. Re-sign Deng (playoff experience; Waiters 6th man) and Hawes
3. Draft Wiggins (sg)
4. Cultivate the nucleus of Irving, Wiggins and Bennett. Give them heaps of time in many different situations. Don

Heat
Pacers
Bulls
Nets

Not just them, but...

Wizards
Hawks
Bobcats
Knicks
Raptors

All those teams should develop or retain their talent and be ahead of Cleveland. Can't see the Cavaliers being better than the Bulls and Pacers, so there's no chance for a Top 4 seed as it stands now.

I'd move them to LA so all the shallow, money-crazed young players would want to play for them
