Voting is conducted by the NBA head coaches; the coaches are not allowed to vote for players on their own team.

With this being said, are NBA coaches Kobe "stans?" If so, this is an amazing revelation. Maybe, just maybe, the fans and media aren't as biased as these NBA coaches. We all know for a fact that the media and fans are far more intelligent than NBA coaches, just check all the threads and posts leading to the criticism of many.

Or Maybe Kobe is a top 5 two way player of all time.

Maybe.

They feel sorry for him having one MVP

Oh, okay. Well, to be fair, Nash and Karl Malone have two MVP awards. Why would Kobe covet such an award that is so tainted with failure?

Even Kobe's own Coach has said he doesnt deserve those and he doesnt. Being a star gets you special perks.

Kobe is definitely a top 7ish two way player though.

What you're saying is, NBA coaches don't watch game tape? They close their eyes when Kobe is their opponent? Kobe paid them off?

What are you saying? The conspiracy theorists want to know.

Most? He's tied with Garnett, Jordan, and Payton with 9, and it's likely Kobe won't get anymore.

:biggums:

Wait, are you saying he doesn't have the most because he's tied with 3 other players who also have the most? They have the most, but Kobe doesn't? Is a tie with Kobe like baseball, where the runner is safe if he gets to first at the same time as the ball?

I remember reading somewhere that most coaches don't even bother with the vote. Also, some said that they pick the players based on reputation. How else would you explain Kobe making 9 first teams, when he probably deserved 2-3 and LeBron making ANY Defensive team this year.

I'll try to find the source.

A combination of, in this order:

-Bad competition at his position for that honor. (Guys like... Wade, Eddie, Hughes, Christie, Snow, Kidd, Billups, Cp3, Rondo, Iverson, Ray Allen, Reggie Miller....)

*GAP*

-He is a good defender.
-Longevity.
-Reputation/Popularity

because they don't know why their back court can't score more points when Derek Fisher is playing next to Kobe.
