Kawhi: 14.3PPG 1.7APG 6.7RPG
Finals Stats: 17.8PPG 2APG 6RPG
I really do think that sports media BS to give FMVP to player who was guarding Lebron to make LeBron look good was the reason duncan who had better stats and at least same impact on defense should have won finals MVP.
Duncan Finals Stats: 15.4PPG 10RPG 2APG

You are really going to compare other Spurs to Duncan based on assists per game? Troll.

Tim Duncan was certainly more consistent throughout the NBA finals than Kawhi Leonard.
But the reason that Leonard won the finals MVP is because he took his game to another level over the last three games of the finals in which he averaged 24 points, nine rebounds, 68% fg and 55% 3PT.
When Kawhi became more aggressive in that series, it completely changed the series and he was the biggest reason why San Antonio won the last three games in routes.

Because of the first 2 games Timmy was more "consistent" ? What does that mean?
I mean, Kawhi from games 3-5 was ELITE. Superstar like stuff... Levels Timmy can't reach at this age, so he isnt to be blamed.. But Kawhi turned it up like Timmy couldnt, end.

"well, here's the trick pal. when you are a trio, you get blamed less for your losses because it's suppose to be a team effort, but just remember to share the credits when you win"
"but I'm Lebron James, I'm the easiest target in sports"
I'm sorry for ruining another Spurs thread and turning it into something about Lebron.
And go easy on Leonard/Duncan because lets hope they like each other.

every star not named duncan would be called monster ultra mega choker with these stats. its ridiculous how duncan is overrated. these stats are stats dirk and kobe are regulary making in a half
duncan fmvp with this stats:lol :lol :lol  . i would rather givegreen, splitter the fmvp.
and saying that duncan was more constitent and kwahi not, i mean realy? duncan had a "great" game 1. and this was it. his game 1 saved his ass. not game 1 and he would end up with 9 ppg. but im sure even then his stans would pretend he was the best player, because of the..... ANCHOR; ANCHOR, ANCHOR, that nobody is seeing in game by eye test, but ok.
