This dude posted up maybe 2% of the entire finals.. he'd rather play hero ball on the perimeter.. .and worse: SPO ALLOWS IT
Lebron is UNGUARDABLE down low! What is his deal? Doesnt he recognize that Kobe and Jordan won rings by dominating the post?
What a fukkin cocktease.. all that strength and force, and he'd rather be a PG.

You idiot. Your complaining about him playing hero ball from the perimeter as if it was somehow ineffective to his offense.
It wasnt.
The Heat didnt lose because Lebron had a problem scoring. He was scoring from every point on the floor. If he posted up more nothing would have happened. He would have still had around the same numbers. Maybe worse considering how hot he was from three.
But, but, but efficiency. No, I brought up efficiency because you are sitting here pretending like he wasnt effective offensively because he wasnt in the post. Flagrantly false.
Doesn't play in the post or defend the post. Talk about a waste of physical prowess.

You clearly didn't watch the games. When he tried to post up the Spurs would shift their entire defense towards him, and when Lebron kicked the ball out to open shooters they weren't able to make the Spurs pay. Amazing Lebron scored the ball so well and so efficiently despite being the only player the Spurs even worried about guarding!

half of lebrons points came against the Spurs bench or when the Heat were down 20... being efficient in the 1st and 3rd quarter is not EFFECTIVE for MVP caliber players
how were his 4th quarters in this series ? thats what i thought. take that. take that.

If all his scoring was done in the 1st and 3rd quarters as you claim, then they were all against the Spurs starters. :oldlol: :facepalm
Game 2 was the only game that he had an opportunity to win in the 4th quarter, and he did.

False. Dont come in here and make up stats as if I dont know them myself.
36% of Lebrons points game when they were down 15. Which isnt bad considering how fast and how many times they went down big.
Fourth quarter numbers? What is this 2011? Follow the damn games. :oldlol:

A Kobe stan I see. That explains EVERYTHING!
The thing you have to understand is that not every superstar is blessed with elite big men who can turn their bricks into easy 2nd chance points.

is it so hard to admit the spurs figured out lebron?.. if lebron dominated the post (like he should and like other greats have) he'd have 4 rings right now

It would have definitely helped both their offense and defense. Posting up settles the pace of the game, leads to easier shots and makes it easier for teams to defend in transition.
It would have created space for everyone else and got Kawhi in foul trouble.
I understand he scored efficently, as did Durant a couple years before this, but their impact on both ends was far less than the shiny statisitcs they produced. As I always say, ball is about timing and impact rather than numerical production.

Sugar K and awesome spurs defense stopped him just camping down low....Lebron played great....the heat was so bad in the finals, wade and bosh played like scrubs.....

nice post. i agree his efficiency is not as great as his followers make it seem. id rather someone score 38 on 46% shooting than 28 on 60%

:applause:
This, its not like lebron did bad; he was actually on fire at times. 57% and 51% is something that almost no perimeter player can do. Could jordan..maybe, but certainly not from 3. Could kobe..hah. Only bird would be able to pull of such numbers
More so than his lack of post play, his unwillingness to move anywhere outside of the top of the 3 point line when the ball is not in his hands was a bigger problem.

You're quick to call someone an idiot when you clearly don't understand what having some post play could have done for Miami. Spurs D was always loaded up ready for Bron on the perimeter, posting up could at least draw some double teams, creating shots or passing lanes. A lot more fouls could have been drawn with some physical play. Just cause his numbers were okay playing hero ball, doesn't mean it was the best decision.

Theres more to it than that. He might have gotten better looks for others if he played in the post. He might have scored even more effectively if hed played in the post (57% is great but its not like lebron hasnt done better).
Fg% doesnt tell the tale if you watched the games. Their offense was stagnant and often Bran just held the ball up top.

LeBron didn't do much wrong in the series. The spurs was too hot.

The shooting numbers aren't indicative as to how invisible Bron was. When you work from the post area, you draw double and triple teams, leaving teammates wide open. You may not get the actual assist, but if the ball is swung correctly, a player will be left wide open. Playing from the post, like Kobe and MJ in the finals, gives you time to assess a situation and make the best possible play.
However, you have to be a bad mofo to play from the post. Kobe is what, 60 pounds lighter? Kobe has a top 5 post game of all time, though. Dude is relentless.

You complained about hero ball and now you're wondering why he didn't do it? At least be consistent in your retardation.
Theres more to it than that. He might have gotten better looks for others if he played in the post.
Except the only people who get bad looks on the Heat are Lebron and Wade. Lebron was fine. Wade was missing layups and runners that he usually makes.
Nobody else had really bad looks from the offense. They just couldnt knock down shots. Well there was Chalmers turning the ball over on the pick and roll that he was good at last year, but he has been bad the entire post season.....

Except he wasnt playing hero ball. I just used that term because the OP did. Lebron's post ups were not really different from his season or post season amount. I dont even know where the narrative came from. The OP just made up stats and went with it. :oldlol:
The Heat lost because their defense (even Lebron's) was terrible from overhelping and they just arent as fast as they use to be and because Wade picked a bad time to shit the bed. Bosh and the role players are alway hit and miss. Sometimes they knock down their shots, sometimes they dont.
It wasnt because Lebron didnt post up enough.
