Do you think a Ghost busters series would work?

I am not talking about a new animated series ( see the real ghost busters or extreme ghost busters). I am talking about a live tv series ala Sleepy Hollow or Reaper.

With the cameo appearances of the 3 remaining original ghostbusters in the first episode.

Anything with the right writers and cast can work.

But all things level, nope. I think it would fail now, because it's still the same "revive and recycle" strategy that has been played out for some time now. Instead the strategy should be focused on giving original ideas a fair shake.
