Was in Brazil this past week for WC. Went to the Nike sponsored World Cup party last Saturday night and he strolled in around midnight. Had a chance to speak with him for a few minutes. He's rooting for Italy. Watched the Italy-England game and was happy that Italy won. Also told me he's rooting for the U.S. but they had a difficult road ahead.

I asked him who he would think would win game 5 and he laughed and said he didn't care.

Also spoke with some of his boys, or entourage, or whoever they were. Cool guys.

Kobe was more down to earth than I expected. :cheers:

One of my clients is a major WC sponsor and got us on the VIP guest list for this party. Nike rented a massive warehouse in Rio. Pretty legit - open bar, free food,, etc. Didn't know Kobe was going to be there. He came later in the night. Somehow we also got into the sectioned off part in the VIP area and had a pow wow with him when he got there. Sick night.

I have been to Europe. Many countries: Switzerland, England, France, Spain, Greece, Turkey. Plan to eventually visit Germany in the future and Amsterdam.

It's interesting you mention that because when we spoke to him, his PR person and bodyguard were watching us like hawks. All business. He was having a good time though because people weren't bum rushing him and asking him for autographs and shit. That bodyguard though....what a serious dude.
