Its a Batman film made from the 60's era source material. If you think that, and the Batman '66 series are good, then it's a good Batman film. If you prefer the darker, 90's, Frank Miller style stuff, then it's the worst thing in existence.

I loved that movie growing up but once I grew up everyone told me that it was shit.

I think it's just a movie you can't take seriously or you'll get annoyed by how bad it is.
