It's really a shame that Kobe has been a beta and scared to take shots. He has less FGA a game than LeBron over their careers. Kobe should learn from an alpha like Bron and not be so afraid to shoot

well u trolls saying 45% COULD be right, his rythm is on when shooting a lot, perhaps it wouldn't improve much by shooting less, easier but off rythm shots,, any other guy not named jordan would average in the low 30's% should he attmpt the crazy mamba shots :applause:

The season where Kobe averaged between 10-15 FGA was in 1998-99 when he put up 15.4 ppg on 15.6 FGA while shooting 46.5% from the field.

If he averaged that his whole career I think his FG% could have been around 47-50%.

The real question is what would Kobe's field goal be if he played his career in the East where the GOAT defenses are

Oh wait his Finals confirm his, low 40%

Well his career fg shows 45.4%, so stop with the hypotheticals. I swear you have to bring up kobe every day just so you feel protected. Kobe isnt an efficient scorer, im just sorry he isnt and the stats back it up

i trust the eye test rather than uncontextual kobe stats. the only good defensive teams in the east in recent history have been the celtics, pistons and the 2peat heat. unless you consider indiana anything more than above average currently

Why did Kobe shoot 44% against the east, and 48% against the west in 2013? I don't know where the eye test factors in here

You're sounding shook, son. I expect much better from you, Jabbar. You're declining pretty quickly these days... This should be your time to shine after 2/5 too.. Step your game up, *****!

If he cared about that shit, he could shoot 80% (he'd only dunk/layup on fast breaks, like bran does).

He doesn't... he cares about winning.

All else equal, who wins it for their team, the guy who shot 9/20, or the one that shot 12/20?
