The Leprechaun movies.
Most horror flicks try to hard to be 'dark' and 'broody' and it usually ends up cringe worthy (like the f*cking Leprechaun reeboot that's coming out  ). Liked how those movies never took themselves seriously and were straight comedy gold.

When I saw Waterworld I didn't even know everyone thought it was bad. I liked it. It wasn't a masterpiece but I thought it was a decent movie. I think the budget was more of the issue than the quality of the film. $172 million in 1995 - adjusted for inflation that is $268 million dollars. The second most expensive film ever made and it was Waterworld.. I don't think the end result was worth that much money.

The Dark Knight Rises
All 3 Transformers movies
Toxic Avenger
That's a pretty big cult classic. I feel like most people who actually watch it have a pretty idea that they will like it, and then up doing so. But yes, critics and the general public would not like it.
Brothers Solomon is one that comes to mind. Probably because I'm a much bigger Will Forte fan than the average person.
Also, Let's Go to Prison.

Did people not like Brothers Solomon and Let's Go to Prison? LGTP was amazing.

The two Mortal Kombat movies... don't ask me why but they are the best worst movies there is. (if that makes sense)

DKR is not "considered" a bad movie by any stretch of the imagination, even if you think it is.

All three Transformers movies. They're so stupid and brainless and I love them.
Star Wars Episodes 1-3. The lightsaber fights are outstanding while everything else is total crap, but whatever. Loved em.

X3 is pretty good IMO. Juggernaut was awesome, they did a good job with Phoenix. The fight in the house where the Professor dies is one of the best scenes on the series.
I like the Pirates movies, although part 4 wasn't that great. There is a part 5 in the works! I think I just like those movies for the superior CG.
I have a place in my heart for 80s ninja flicks (see avy) because I loved them as a child. I was a ninja for like 3 straight Halloweens. Speaking of ninja flicks both The Hunted and Ninja Assassin are dope:bowdown:
Love cheezy 80s horror as well. I can watch most of the old Nightmare on Elm Street movies. I love and own all of the Tales from the Crypt episodes. HBO needs to reboot that show.

80's horror movies and horror movies in general. All tho while the average person considers them bad I'd say horror movies have the biggest cult following and there's companies out there dedicated to just releasing them because they sell so well. Movies like Toxic Avenger/Frankenhooker probably have more fans than alot of good movies.
I love the new Star Wars movies. Besides the actors who played Anakin I enjoyed them alot. They are hated by the majority.

Tales from the Crypt is awesome. Pretty sure that gets an 8 on IMDB too, pretty popular/well liked.

Spring Breakers: The movie is a goddamned masterpiece. Was just marketed wrong.
