'A big joke'.

Nick Young

The big joke is this big guy, 'one of the best strikers in the world' couldn't even qualify for the world cup, while meanwhile Bayern B reserve stud Julian Green is there:roll:

Stay salty Zlatan. Stay salty.

CONCACAF has proven itself to be the strongest region this year at the 2014 world cup according to wins-draws and losses.

well Rooney sucks, but he is on similar level to Suarez, Messi and Ronaldo, probably 4th behind those guys.

Rooney is not a top 50 player in the world. Don't let the English hype get to you. He's the English version of Sidney Sam.

Zlatan needs that American mentality. It's what kept him from being the best player in the world

forreal. If Zlatan had Demsey's mentality he could easily have been the GOAT footballer. Instead he has the soft choking Euro mindset.

He din't say anything wrong though, it would be a shock to everyone in the ****ing universe if we end up winning the world cup. Lets focus on beating Portugal today.

Not Zlatan's fault he had to face Portugal in the knockout stage of the qualifiers. If he had faced Greece or Ukraine, I bet we would of seen him play.

He's extremely good.

Think Kevin Love (it's the best I can do lol)

But yeah, he's up there as one of the best strikers in the world and has been for a number of years. One of the most entertaining on and off the pitch as well.

Horrible comparison. Many label Love as an overachiever. If anything Zlatan is the opposite. Zlatan is an exciting player whereas KLove isn't. Zlatan has a strong personality on and off the pitch. Zlatan isn't considered a statpadding loser like Love is (althought I don't think that's a far assessment of Love either).

I can't think of a good comparison at the moment so I don't want to give a poor one... maybe someone has one in mind. For now I'll say he's like a rich man's prime Rasheed Wallace: unique game; personality; opinionated; very talented; plays with heart but maybe doesn't have a mindset to be the best?

Nick Young

Ok I admit it. CONCACAF does have the best win% at the world cup of any other qualifying region in the world.
Thank you:cheers:

Ty

I was wondering rank these leagues for me. is there a huge gap or not?

English premier league
La Liga
Italian league
French league
Bundesliga
MLS

rank these players for me:

Messi
C. Ronaldo
Ronaldinho
Rooney
Thierry Henry
Zlatan
Bale
Iniesta
Suarez
Neymar
Dempsey
Donovan

Is there a huge difference in positions between forwards, midfielders, defenders?

Eg is it like the difference between a PG and a center? Obviously PGs could never play center and vice versa, or the difference between a power forward and a center?

LOL! Calm your tits bro

I wasn't making a comparison in terms of their gameplay or personality traits but moreso in terms of where they stand amongst the ranks of their peers.

Love is a top tier player but he isn't considered the best of the best. Although many would argue that Zlatan and Love are. That's where I was going.

Really? a guy that when he wins 40 games will be an achievement? A guy who stops defending to get in position for the rebound?

Love is an all star level player and all nba 2nd team. His stats grant him that. But top tier imo is at least all first second team.

sweden is basically ibra right now.. literally a one man team.. they used to be solid like 10 years ago with ljungberg, larsson, mellberg..

now their key players are kim f*cking kallstrom, sebastian larsson, kacaniklic.. basically EPL scrubs..

Sorry Ragaz but Liga on the whole has proven to be the better of the top tier leagues this campaign. Look no further than the Champions League and Europa for proof. I previously thought otherwise as well...

According to results and not Anglocentric BS, Chelsea and various other overrated English teams are where Spanish champions put their middle aged players to pasture while they go after even better young talent.

Ibra is a football version of LeBron even tho he isnt GOAT like lebron.
hes freaking huge for an attacking player that can play every position up front.
his unique technique and size combination makes him so good.
he would be at the WC if he didnt get GOATed of the pitch by Ronaldo in the qualifiers
