mostly that was their excuse to try and avoid a lawsuit.

its pretty clear they knew about the Kimba flick just by watching the movies.

no shit. it was originally being produced as a remake i thought everyone knew this? Same as pirates of the carribean started life as a monkey island movie

Who cares. Lion King = GOAT Disney movie. Best cold opening for a movie, too.

So was Avatar, and yet for some reason people still paid top dollar to see 3D pocahontas.

Can't wait until 4D comes out and remix of 3 little pigs sells for $1B revenue.

A number of Disney's films are replications of projects that were once in the public domain. God forbid you try to replicate theirs though...
