He would be the first Indian player to ever play in the NBA and his footwork seems pretty good.

I think he should lose a few pounds and gain some muscle.

How good y'all think he can be in the NBA?

From what I have been hearing, his younger brother is 2 inches shorter and way more talented. Have a few family members who are up in Toronto and have seen both. However, it is great to see more diversity in the NBA. There is a kid in Punjab, India that I believe was 7 foot something at 14 with a 7 foot father who didn't play basketball. Kid is on pace to grow taller than Yao Ming (likely, maybe?). I read about him a long time ago, forgot which year but I would guess he's probably 17 now?

Also Punjabi Indians for people who don't know tend to be much larger physically than most indians. I would say the average height of a Punjabi Indian male is probably close to 5'10'' or 5'11''. Where I live, I know a lot of people who are Punjabi Indian.

he should have stayed in college longer. He's injury prone and over weight, gets winded after 5 or so minutes on the court. Don't see him having any impact

anything over like 6'1 is still tall even for punjabi indians though isn't it?

One sort of example of a Punjabi Indian is the Great Khali

From what i've seen from him I expect for him to be a good roleplayer- solid starter in the league. Nothing special though sort of like an Omer Asik role.

I think he's just a role player, not a starter. I am looking forward however to his younger brother if he does chose to go to the NBA.

he can't even play long stretches in college so I doubt he will be a starter. At best I think he will be a back up big, most likely he will struggle to stay in the league. Some mocks even have him going undrafted don't they? For a guy with his size to be mocked undrafted you know that he will struggle.

I find it hard to believe he'll be exactly this slow, chubby, and short-winded after working with professional trainers for an extended period of time. Didn't he say he lost like 60+ pounds? 2-3 seasons of intense training with professionals and he could be at least decent physically, compared to where he is now.

Hey I'm injury prone, let me just stay in college instead of getting quick cash and going back to college.

He looks out of shape but quicker than his bro.

Both brothers need to lose some weight.

Doesn't look like he can dunk either

He won't be drafted. Fat and slow.

Neither brother is worth a damn...my god they would get smashed against real NBA big bodies. Literally stomped into the ground.

Yao Ming has more skill in his pinky than these guys have in their entire body.
