Obviously I was exaggerating with the title but with the way some ISH'ers talk about his first step or lackthereof you would think he couldnt get past Perkins or some shit

His first step is pretty weak considering how fast he is in the open court. It's still very good for a forward, but many guards are quicker.

Then why bother posting it? You and LeBron need some alone time based on all your posts about him.

Not in order...
Wall
WB
Kyrie
Monta
'Melo
Lebron is right up there with them still though, even if he's not as quick with that first step as he was 5 years ago.

Not even close to the quickest. Why do you think he needs to do 20 jab steps(eating up the shot clock), before inevitably rising up for a jumper? Lebron is fast, but I would not say he's quick. There's a difference between the two.

Height to weight ratio, quite easily. Overall, probably not.

Has to lose 10 pounds to approach being elite level with that. This year's draft is intriguing because having a first step is a great ability to have in this league: Zach Levine, Wiggins and Exum all will excel because of it. Right now its Westbrook, without question, but one of the three I named will surpass him in a couple of years.

He was actually pretty quick pre 2011. Saw brief return of his first step in 2013. But his weight limits him in that regard, plus age. If he dropped some weight he'd be good again. Was never a great first step though. He needs to dribble, and get momentum to be dynamic off the bounce. That's why he's harder to stop in transition.

No but he has a hell of an off arm.

This...I'm not sure if the OP is even serious.......Lebron does NOT do the quick first step consistently that he does in this video......

This is the difference between quickness and raw speed. In his younger days, LeBron was more of a combination. These days, he's much more of a power and speed guy than a quickness guy. You can spot the difference pretty easily.

I can name 3 Spurs alone with a quicker first step. Dwyane Wade even at this broken down stage of his career still has a quicker first step. Don't go full retarded OP.
LeBron has many great attributes.. quickness and first step has never been something he really excels at tbqh.

like first step in jab step and blowing pass by your opponent that you aren't using your body to draw contract for the and 1, but you are simply going for the lay up?
never seen anyone did a better first step than a prime TMac.
