Well its quite obvious will not be playing on the Heat next season. He's got a bigger contract then Cole And he's already peaked. Cole has higher ceiling.

I don't want him on the Heat. Even for the vet min.

Chalmers had a decent season, but was pretty unproductive in the playoffs. He's only good for a spark game every few weeks, but that didn't show up against the Spurs

Vet min.

Noah. Heat won't have 3 PGs. So that means Chalmers will be SG? No way. Not with Wade/Allen.

Well w/ Wade only being able to play every full moon, it might good to have a younger back up

My sources have told me that The Heat might just kill Wade off to make room.

Nothing like seeing a player who annoys the shit out of you as a NBA fan become a scrub right before your very eyes

Ya your right. The issue is I don't see Chalmers shutting down any SGs. Heck Ray Allen at 50 years old plays better D on his assignments.

What would his vet min be? Regardless man he's gone, too many issues.

It will be wierd without him on the team but he's an average pg at best, when he's not making that 3 ball he's pretty useless.

Maybe they can trade Chalmers for a 3 and D SG. Napier's only 6'0 so it's not like he's a combo guard. They still need a good backup for Wade.

Yep. Problem is they need someone dirt cheap.

Chalmers was never a good NBA player. He just had his moments.

I don't see how they keep Chalmers unless they do change him into a SG...which, now that some of you mentioned it, might not be too bad if he's had for cheap. He can create for himself somewhat, and can shoot when he's ready...maybe playing off the ball as a SG and not having the PG role might be a good way to reinvent himself. His defense isn't that bad either...he can manage, I'm hoping, against the opposing 2nd string

Starting PG just wasn't a good fit for him...not to mention disappearing completely in the Finals

Jason Williams/Gary Payton FTW!!!

tell Pat Riley to stop drafting like a Lakers.

Who can the Knicks give for him? I wouldn't give Shump.. That gives Miami more defense.

yeah, we are very ungrateful.
imagine how grateful the humble Spurs fans were if their starting PG averaged 3 PPG on 20% in the finals while turning it over every time he tries to penetrate the defense:coleman:

Manu played horribly in the previous finals yet nobody gave up on him and look what happened. Why isn't Wade getting the kind of Heat Chalmers is getting. Afterall, he's supposed to be a Superstar, you know? And he played even worse than Chalmers when you compare their talent level.

r15mohd
06-27-2014, 10:21 AM
Ungrateful LOL, IF U think he is so good take him on your team for a season. He is not a good player one of the most mistake prone PG's I have ever seen and not even a deadeye shooter or scorer to make up for his other faults. Napier will be an upgrade eventually.

we hope...Chalmers is very mistake-prone, and has yet to improve it. 4yrs is more than enough time to correct yourself, he's had 6 since being drafted. can't fix what is unable to be fixed..

i would LOVE for Wade to retire and the Heat get Melo. aint gonna happen tho.
Wade has always been a selfish bitch and will keep collecting checks, sit out games, color his nails and then hog the ball every time he hits two shots in a row.
but no matter how terrible Wade was,Chalmers was even worse.
he looked like a legit retard out there
