bron was one confident alpha from the start, with like the most spotlights on any rookie, ever

As long as he goes in the dunk contest, I don't give a shit, you know?

This year's draft drew the highest TV rating ever at 3.1. LeBron's is the second highest at 2.7.

I did. I watched it live and some of us were in the thread like, "Damn, he's starting and ending sentences with "you know""

he once said "you know" in the middle of a laugh.

He's clearly used to say this. But nerves increased amount of this filler dramatically. It's quite normal for 19yo to be nervous in such press meetings with all eyes on him.

Is he worse than Aldridge? I've heard him having some comparable "performances".

If you ignore the "you know"s though, he seems pretty smart.

He's a humble hardworking kid who doesn't expect anything to be handed to him

Cleveland is going to love him.

You're probably right, but why does he(and a lot of other people) ask "you know?" in a lot in their sentencens, and why would being nervous make you ask "you know?" even more?

NBA ratings sucked ass in the early '00's. Not surprising.

And?

What does that have to do with what I said?

No player entered the league to as much fanfare and attention as James.

How is he supposed to be himself when you're counting his "you knows" you know?

Overusing fillers is quite common for intellectual people aswell. Even presidents overuse certain fillers in their speeches that they don't have written down.

Must be why his debut in the finals drew the lowest rating in NBA finals history.

That's true but Bron has been on tv since his junior or sophomore year in HS.

Probably didn't notice it because of being used to Waiters using fillers like that...
Though Waiters' best filler is ''at the end of the day'' in almost every sentence :lol

Not a big deal. Alot of people have speech fillers especially when they are nervous. He plays basketball.
