I think we can all agree that winning a ring as the man with a max salary is more impressive than not.

All rings are team accomplishments. Kobe would have 0 if he never had Shaq or Gasol, and vice versa.

if your an MVP candidate in your prime and not being paid the maximum you are a colluding little bitch.

Championships only count if the close out game is on a Saturday or a Sunday.

this actually sorta makes sense if you're a veteran

people only take pay cuts when theyre colluding/ring chasing/old/washed up

kobe signed his first maximimum allowable extension before the 2000 nba season

he's won all 5 titles making as much money as he possibly could

kobes first pay cut was this year... well after his decline. and yet hes still the nbas highest paid player

kobe won 2 titles making nearly 30 mill.. thats impressive.

Why is it players can actually take paycuts to stack their teams?

All rings are team accomplishments. Kobe would have 0 if he never had Shaq or Gasol, and vice versa.

but you cant really group a 90-100 player all time whos 0-16 without kobe in the playoffs in the same catigory as a shaquille oneal

i mean... its pau gasol. nobody cares

hes a hall of famer because of international success. without it hes just a 2 time third team all nba player with 18 points a game and 4 reserve allstar games

penny hardaway had a more prolific individual career ( minus titles )

ewing $18,724,000
robinson $7,700,000
mourning $4,560,000
hill $4,050,000
shaq $5,700,000

jordan $3,850,000

% of team salary > measurement of maximum salary compared to other individuals because of the FACT that the league exists under a soft cap system.

How would I sign baseball players who gets paid less than others and win a championship? by offering them a competitive environment with a moderate lifestyle as well as the best fan base. one whose environment is stress free instead of getting lots of cash, and being stressfulled with your life, personal/professional.

MJ didn't take a paycut, his owner didn't want to pay him. Look at his salary last 2 years with the bulls.

Winning with a max contract doesn't count if the team is paying double the cap.

According to his cheap ass owner, no. MJ still holds the highest salary for any basketball athlete to date during those two years.

because I got teammates willing to take less than what they are owed in our attempt for a championship run?

because I'm business and my teammates are ballers?
