Undrafted.

probably a late lotto pick.

He's an athletic big with range that put up 16/8 his freshman season. He wasn't a turd in college.

Adam Silver would throw him out of the Barclay center

Lottery, probably anywhere from 8 to 14 looks reasonable.

McDermott, Saric, LaVine, TJ Warren... those are players he definitely would've been drafted ahead of had they come out in 2013 at the same stage they're currently at.

He would have gone after Randle, Vonleh and Gordon.

FWIW i'm pretty pumped to see what AB is going to look like in summer league running the floor with his buddy Wiggins.

He was starting to come out of his shell after the all star break and strung together a couple of good games before he had that injury.

Blatt's system as we know it now seems to fit Bennett's skill set perfectly, setting screens and spacing the floor.

Yeah, he's not a hopeless case just yet.

He's not going to save your franchise, but I don't think anyone seriously expected that to begin with.

Nobody was expecting a perennial all star. Not even Cleveland fans. It's amazing how sh*tty that draft was.

I think he'll be a productive player in the league.

Dude came in so f*cking fat and out of shape from that injury. He did rebound and defend well. His shot and aggressiveness were broke.

He's reportedly down to 220 lbs. He'll be just fine as a stretch 4 in Blatt's system.

Cleanthony Early and Jarnell Stokes are unquestionably better prospects than Bennett, and they went in the second round.

There's nothing wrong with Bennett's game he just needs to get in shape and play without the fear of being yanked. He was behind the eight ball all last year. He came into camp fat and out of shape from an injury and then he had to play for a moron of a coach. Last year's draft totally sucked and he had the misfortune of being the number one pick. It's kind of like Kenyon Martin's draft. The dude can be a decent player. He's not going to be a perennial all start but he can def be a solid pro. New coach/gm fresh start is what he needs and he needs to come into camp in shape. If I were him I'd be doing two a days all summer and putting up shot after shot.

He was projected as a late top 10 of his draft so probably after the lotto if he declared for this recent draft.

But if McDermott had come out last year he wouldn't have been taken ahead of Bennett, and he was taken 11th in this draft.

Where players end up being drafted doesn't correspond to how good they are.

Bennett is going to turn out to be a fine NBA player and everyone, including the media is going to look stupid for ragging on him.

I just remember watching Demare Carroll absolutely destroy him and being amazed that this guy was the number one overall pick. He was just so slow.

No way will he ever be able to guard 3's in this league.

That said I think he'll be able to score some buckets eventually.

This is unbelievably false.
