They're not you ****ing degenerate. It's a placeholder to indicate that's where he was at that age. Look at Wilt and Jordan too.

If we are counting them, Chamberlain won two straight HS championships, went 56-3 in his three years, and had games of 71, 74, 78, and 90 points in his HS career.

It's not personal, but your posts and posters like you make ISH so much of a worse place. Just for once, try to be level headed and unbiased. Try it...it won't hurt.

:applause: Nicely done, sir.

Just two peated with Jordan on 2k11 and felt like trading him because I had to carry my team, Rose played like arse in the finals. Was trying to get traded to either the Knicks, Rockets, or the Trailblazers. Didn't realize we got Phil Jackson and asked for a trade prematurely.

Chamberlain was the most dominant player from day one. In his very first NBA game he scored 43 points, on 17-27 shooting, grabbed 28 rebounds, and blocked an estimated 17 shots. He would go on to take what had been a last-place and rapidly deteriorating team, to a 49-26 record, and a two point loss in game six of the EDF's against the stacked 59-16 Celtics, in a series in which he averaged 30 ppg, 27 rpg, and shot 50% (in a post-season that shot .402.) He smashed records all season long, and went on to not only win ROY, but the league MVP as well.

Yep. "Tall Tales." Obviously the man was not real. There is simply no way anyone could have so thoroughly have dominated the NBA his entire career, and in the process, hold hundreds of NBA records.

Just not possible.

I don't think the chart maker had any intention of slighting players. It's just a chart of the greatest accolades a basketball player can achieve at their age in their time.

It's a complete chart. It just doesn't have footnotes.

Good point.

Wilt needs a FMVP in 67 as well, possibly 64 (though I think that goes to Sam Jones). Russell needs FMVPs in 59, 60, 61, 62, 63, 65, 66.

I don't see DPOYs in that chart, but Wilt would need them in 66, 68, 72, 73, and Russ would need them in 57-65, and 69 (Thurmond wins in 67 and 71 IMO, not sure who'd win in 70). Kareem might win one in 74, 77, 78 (doubt he wins all three, Walton could sweep 77 and 78).

Actually the OP was wrong. It was only one year, in the '58-59 season. He left KU a year early out of frustration, but at the time, a player had to wait until his college class graduated before they join the NBA.

chart has merit-

It shows in the next 3 years are key age time periods where Bron in his prime needs to get it done.

Face it folks - do you really consider Duncan's ring this year that valuable :confusedshrug:

He was basically a role player in his twi-light of his career.

total command of his game, and yet at 35.

Duncan's "Role Playing" in 2014 for SA:

MPG: 1st
PPG: 2nd
RPG: 1st
APG: 3rd
BPG: 1st
PER: 1st
WS: 1st

If you want to argue that Parker was slightly better overall and led the team, I'm with you. But Duncan is not a role player. Just watch some Spurs games throughout the year.

It's because only 2 of his 5 rings were actually his. No one else on taht list got carried to 3 rings. He's the only one who was an undeniable SIDEKICK in 60% of his ring totals :oldlol:
