yet averaged 8 apg one time. While he only averaged 4apg in his 2nd 3peat but he trusted his teammates.

So whats really the definition of trusting your teammates? Is it trusting that they can make their shots if you pass or trusting your teammates that they can do their roles?

Did iverson, marbury, robertson, westbrook trusted their teammates too? Why are they considered cancers? Meanwhile miller has only averaged 3apg yet he has achieved more than them.

8 apg was a statpad season, dude was checking his boxscores constantly between timeouts

Jordan was never as selfish as people make him out to be besides the time where his teammates were absolute shit

Who can forget the fast break opportunity where he kicks it out to Paxson for a 3 to take the lead against the Suns in game 6 of the 93 finals? Classic moment

Every season LeBron stat pads. He wears t-shirts telling people. Guy stat pads in the Finals. Limiting his FG attempts in order to pad the FG%.

MJ stat padded the last 17 games that season in '89. In the ball dominant, PG role. Put up numbers that shit on LeBron, and Magic in that capacity too. Scary to think if he did that more his first handful of years in the league.

You might be trolling but, Jordan really did stat pad to unprecedented levels in one of those seasons, I dont remember which one. And it wasnt Lebron/Kobe stat padding, where that is actually how they play naturally.

I'll find the sources later.

If you're the greatest scorer ever, you should get a lot of shots.

LA Times, April 11, 1989:

Since switching to point guard for the Chicago Bulls, Michael Jordan has become statistic conscious. He has started checking with statisticians to see how close he is to a triple-double. He had a string of seven consecutive triple-doubles broken Friday night.

"The guys at the scorer's desk let me know what I need," Jordan said.

So, too, do the Bulls' a$sistant coaches.

"They keep reminding me when I get back to the huddle," Jordan said. "They say, 'You need three more of this. You need four more of that.'"

Statpadders gonna statpad.

That a**hole was probably yelling at his teammates if/when they didn't shoot the ball as soon as he passed it to them.

Jordan was the biggest fake tough guy ever

He kept taunting and hating on all his teammates in practice. Once a teammate threatened to break Jordan's legs after getting dissed, Jordan never talked smack again.

A great scorer, a bad teammate, and an even worse person.

And bran is doing it his whole career. Since jordan was considered cancer at that time who did not trust his teammates, do you think bran is the same his whole career? Is it the reason being 2 for 5 despite having the most stacked team in history??Thats why he makes his teammates worse because he didnt trust them??

You tell me how bad of a teammate 1 can be if they are winning 6 championships.

Why did they play so hard with him? Explain.

Is it so wrong to be mad when they lose and only want to win? Sometimes you gotta chew the scrubs out.

That was Bill Cartwright. Jordan told everyone on the team not to pass the ball to Bill because he was upset that bill missed a shot or fumbled a pass or something.

Except that doesn't hold up.

Look at the consistency of Karl Malone's numbers:

1988-89 (Pace 100.6 )
29.1/10.7/2.7 (FGA 19.5)

1997-98 (Pace 90.3)
27/10.3/3.9 (FGA 18.2)

10 point difference in Pace, but the numbers are consistent throughout. Sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less. But none of the huge swings that your mind imagines.

Pace argument just got annihilated the other day: http://www.insidehoops.com/forum/showthread.php?t=344567&page=4
