Also we adquired last year 16th draft selection Lucas Nogueira. He es a 7 foot center playing in Spain, in Estudiantes.

This year he has played better. It could be a top 12 draft selection this year. So we have another rookie. Great trade.

Having a GM like Masai clearly makes the difference.

I agree this is a great trade.

A 1 Million cut for cap purposes does not move this team further forward. Does not maintain momentum.

Something for now and something for later - a classic GM move.

Love Lou as a sixth man. Makes Grevis seem like the odd man out if Lowry becomes expendable. Maybe they can stick it out and get Mills/ Ginobli minutes off the bench.

Nogueria, from what I've heard is still skinny, but has excellent positioning and is good defensively. Apparently, he's got wonky knees. I'm guessing the fact that he's Brazillian played into making this trade for him. Nice young guy to pick up, but I'm guessing he'll be a back up at best.

What is Lou's contract like?

On the last year of his deal. Raptors will have Hayes, Amir, Lou, Psycho T, and Fields coming off the books next year. They are set up to take a run at someone next year.

Lou's pick looks to be like a one year pick up for a bench role. Nice move by Masai.

Don't think this has a lot of impact on Greivis. The only thing about Lou that says PG is his size otherwise he is a pure SG.


But he does bring some scoring punch off the bench and that is nice.

Apparently this deal hit a bit of a snag and the raps will now send a 2nd round pick to the Hawks as well.

No 2nd rounder in 2015 or 2016 now.

Lou should be able to handle some PG duties.

I just think its going to be hard to satisfy everyone on the team with minutes. Lowry and Derozan eat up 70 of the 96 minutes at the PG and SG slots already. I guess you could slide Derozan to the 3. Either way it's going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
