He was a star comedian/turned award nominated actor/award winning music artist.
I guess there's also Olivia Newton John which went from actress to successful singer.
And we're forgetting the Disney actors that went on to have successful musical careers, the best one being Christina Aguilera. Miley Cirus aint bad I suppose, and then there's Timberlake.
