Nigeria suck and got owned by the US a few weeks ago. France looked awful with Giroud and amazing as soon as he went off. I think Giroud is a good player but if France wants to win they need to let Benzema lead the attack and leave Giroud on the bench.

they lack IQ but they dont suck

i think they will go with the same squad as today against germany except for giroud who will be replaced with sissoko.. griezman again will be the game changer off the bench

France always hit or miss in World Cups.

1994: Didnt even qualify.
1998: Winners.
2002: 3 games, 0 goals, 1 point.
2006: Runners-Up.
2010: Laughing stock.
2014: QF now.

i remember 2002, france and zidane were much more hyped than brazil and ronaldo.. everyone was waiting for the zidane comeback.. it was crazy.. france couldnt score.. henry got a red.. then zidane comes back in the 3rd game.. and they still lose.. this time utterly dominated by tommason, rommedahl and gronkjaer :oldlol:

Same with Brazil 06'.

Everybody thought they would walk it and win it easily.

thats 8 years ago.. if you people watched those charity matches lately, zidane can still play.. i would say better than 90% of the players in the english team..
retired WAY too early

Nah, Zidane was mediocre for Real Madrid in 2005 and 2006(remember Real Madrid losing early in the CL those years and Barca running away with the league). It was pretty shocking how well he performed that tournament.

Zidane right now as old as he is would be England's best #10 and most creative player:lol

I live in France and after this victory, the whole town I live in went insane.

Cars honking and flag waving for 2+ hours.

But then...Tomorrow = back to reality with their mundane existence of croissant and snail eating

France is doing well without that shmuck Nasri. He is like the closest thing to stephon Marbury of franch soccer/football.
