He is really smart and good anticipation so will be a good player still even after his athletic prime passes. He can see 2 more world cups at top level easily if he takes care of himself.

in a 4-3-3 he mostly scores on putbacks. all his WC goals in this tournament have been putbacks so far.

True, Neymar does not belong at all on the Messi/Ronaldo tier. What has he ever really accomplished so far? Ibrahimovic clearly belongs to me on the 1st tier and I would actually pick him over Ronaldo any day of the week (at their peak)

And honestly...what did someone like Bale really accomplished apart from being highly paid? He is fantastic - all of them are in the list above - but I see no reason to put him so high.

Mueller is not flashy, is not marketable, is not known really to the casual fan but is has an amazingly high football IQ, very strong nerves, instinctively does the right things and just going by achievements he is for many years now a key player for one of the top 5 club and national teams. With 8 goals he was the top scorer for Bayern when they won the championsleague last year (scored 3 alone against Barcelona). He was again Bayern's top scorer in the Championsleague this year.
Was the top scorer of the world cup 2010 at the age of 20, he is on track of becoming again the top scorer of this world cup and has now 9 total world cup goals under is belt at the age of 24 and not all of them being easy goals to make. All this while playing an unorthodox style that makes him quite unpredictable to adjust to as an opponent.
Honestly it is more a matter of perception: If you put a player with his age and accolades on the Barcelona or ManU team, half of the fans would proclaim how unbelievable he is.
