Kid's got one of the biggest stages in basketball. Hope he makes good use of it even if it is the Lakers.

I typically don't like the Lakers fans on ISH, but I like the way they're getting behind this kid :applause:

Don't turn on him too fast if he struggles a little bit coming out of the gates.

Steal at the 6th pick?

consideing a guy with one foot, an unproven australian, and a goon in gordon were picked ahead of him yeah he is a steal Only guys picked above him I would take were obviously wiggins, parker and him and smart I could debate.

Im so nba'd out

Steal at the 6th pick?

Definitely a steal considering that he was a top 3 prospect. He dropped off due to these unknown guys.

I take him.

He will be a fantastic player.

He's not? :coleman:

If Pau leaves he might. Hill isn't guaranteed to stay either, right?

I'm glad Randle is with a great franchise. It's all looking up for him.

Also, Randle is a stud. He doesn't act like a guy his age. He has a mean streak in college. A guy that gets real physical and not afraid to bang.

These type of traits are missing from young players today.

One thing that it occurs to me might not work in the kid's favor? The Lakers don't have a coach right now. Think a draft pick like Randle shapes the kind of person you want coaching this team in the long term?

Hes got pau and the boys to teach him. But you are extremely correct. I want the nets to pick up Hollins as opposed to jackson whose left on the market. Either would be solid for his development I believe.

He's also the only one of the top prospects in this draft to team up with other good players at Kentucky :lol .

That alpha lebron like mentality

That's some BS, especially since the #1 and #3 pick where freshmen from the same college and it wasn't Kentucky.

I think when he gets healthy he will certainly be one of the most NBA ready rookies due to his strength and rebounding ability.

I think that stuff about earning the starting spot was just PR talk. Pau is better at center now anyways.

I think it depends with the personality of each franchise/teams make up.

and for the Lakers, Kobe and Pau(if being resigned, meaning all the trade rumor will be put to rest for good) has the most personality at the moment.

Hiring a coach might put him right where Pau is in terms of influences amongst the rookie over the first few years. But over the long run, well, not many coaches stay longer than a franchise player.
