[QUOTE]These are some dark days for the Brooklyn Nets. Not only are they without a head coach after the drama surrounding Jason Kidd, but Grantland reports that they are projected to lose $144 million in 2013-14.

This figure is from a confidential memo released by the NBA to all teams in early June. The Nets lost more money this year than any other team. Second on the list are the Washington Wizards, who lost $13 million. That

I doubt that this is accurate. It reminds me of the memos sent out during the lockout saying that 22 of 30 NBA teams were losing money

Then as soon as the lockout ends teams are selling for hundreds of millions. If the Nets were really losing much money, they wouldn't be valued at well over a billion

The Knicks lost 3.5 mil which is pretty surprising but because of the luxury tax.

Lakers lead in profits with 100 mil, Bulls 2nd with 61mil. Only if our owner wasn't so cheap and cared about the white sox more :facepalm

Illuminati told Jay-Z to leave. They knew what would happen to the Nets... and so he left.

regardless, he sold his shares at its peak. Jay Z very shrew, he knew Nets business practices were not sustainable.

that's really nothing when you think about how much money they could make over the next 5-10 years.

He'll make that back off re-sale.

Vale of the team has gone up, regardless of their balance sheet.
