I would even dare to say that Rudy Gay is a slightly better defender. I feel like Rudy Gay is a slightly better jumpshooter overall but LeBron can go on a hot streak that Rudy can't go on.

It is very debatable. James is the better jumper and runner, but Gay has the bigger set of basketball skills and is a tougher competitor. Rudy can shoot, pass, defend, dunk, everything while Lebron can only jump and run faster than other players. If we are starting franchises I will take Lebron because of his potential as an athlete but make sure to surround him with competitive, dominant leader players like Russell Westbrook or Kobe Bryant.
