All in their prime, you get 5 years. Only enough money for role players to put around them. I'm assuming Prime Kobe and Shaq can coexist for five seasons.

MJ/Hakeem
LeBron/KAJ
Kobe/Shaq

Although I wouldn't complain about any of the 3

MJ / Hakeem have the least gaps offensively, and defensively. Both raise their game against elite competition. Best intangibles of the bunch. Neither is going to report into a season out of shape. Neither will quit mid way through a playoff series if things aren't going their way.

Remember making a MJ/Pippen, Magic/Wilt or Duncan/Bird thread a long time ago. Most went with the PG/Center combo.

Not even a competition, MJ/Hakeem easily.

1. MJ/Hakeem (GOAT Offensive player and arguable GOAT Defensive player)
2. LeBron/Kareem (Team could contend for a title for like 15 years in a row)
3. Kobe/Shaq

1- LBJ/Kareem = LBJ running the point, i.e playing the Magic role, and having a clutch god in the paint to kick the ball to? Sheeeit that's just not fair.
2- MJ/Hakeem = MJ is too much of a ballhog to get the most out of Hakeem.
3- Kobe/Shaq

Wasn't Hakeem viewed as a cancer at one point in his career?

KAJ/LeBron and MJ/Hakeem are almost interchangeable. I would take KAJ/LeBron because of longevity. KAJ would give you 11 prime years, including dominating out the box, and then 6 more elite seasons and an 18th all-star season as well. MJ takes a hit in longevity because he retired for 1 3/4 seasons at his peak and then again for 3 years at 35 off a MVP season. Hakeem had the least top 5 seasons of any top 10 all-time player. People remember 1993-1995 but forget that outside of that he was viewed as comparable to Robinson and Ewing.

Shaq/Kobe clearly are the weakest of the three due to their proven chemistry issues. They would give you three great years and then run out of steam.

You do realize Hansen led his team to the finals in his 2nd season right. Hansen is a playoffs performer. Mj and him would dominate to no end. No flaws in their game.
