Gasol would be stupid not to sign with the champs :pimp:

bad fit for both, they need young legs both.

even in spurs case, with mills out 7 months... dont forget ginobili/parker/diaw/duncan are all 33+ next year playoffs.

He's reportedly seeking in the 10-12 mill range.

Miami need a young and athletic big man who can play defense. I know you hate Lebron since his Cleveland days.
I respect his game for sure, hate his persona. Didnt mind him in Cleveland. Seemed hungry and relatively humble all the while killing it. Now hes just a mega-dbag

As Heat fan I dont want those Euro players anyway and I'm not bias or racists.. but it's Riles talking to Gasol. He can be persuaded..

The Spurs getting Gasol would be a good fit. He seems like the kind of high profile FA that could work there, unlike most guys.

Dont need Gasol...we need more defensive minded players at the C/PF spot. wasting 10-12 mil a year on him isn't worth it when you have JHill Okafor Ed Davis McRoberts waiting to be signed for much less.

plus this slows our offensive set...i rather the mid-level talent to come off the bench if needed. focus on Deng!

starters:
Bosh
Lebron
Deng
Wade
Cole/Napier

bench:
Allen
Birdman
JHill/Davis/McRoberts/Okafor
JHill/Davis/McRoberts/Okafor
Lewis
Beasley
VC
Marion
Miller/Caron Butler

Just like Kobe. One of your favorite players.
:confusedshrug: one of many. Not sure what the problem is lol. I dont have to like everyone, for example I now dont like you for being a bitch. I dont troll against or for either so hop off bud.

I don't know how Duncan and Gasol work together.

Gasol fits:
- Atlanta (Move Millsap to bench, Horford to 4)
- Denver (playing 5 in the triangle for Coach Shaw)
- Lakers (playing the 5)
- Minnesota (Love replacement)
- New York (playing the 5, paired with Amare - worst defense of all-time)

no pun intended

Well this pretty much just confirmed Gasol to Spurs lmao

Gasol off the bench, tbh.

And they can both post up or step outside.

I assume it would be

Duncan/Splitter
Diaw/Gasol

did Diaw re-sign with the Spurs?

Gasol fits on the Spurs because like Duncan he can slide to Center or play his natural position, PF. I'm assuming he would come off the bench though, ala Ginobili.

I read your post and I said yeah!

And then realized you're talking bout the Spurs :lol.

:hammerhead: It'll take me a while to get use to Heat not being the champs anymore...but hopefully we'll change that, this next season.

If he's smart and wants to win, he'll sign with the Spurs.

Miami will turn him into another spot up shooter like Bosh.

Watching Duncan and Gasol would be great. Gasol has always talked about his admiration for TD, and he's still one of my favourites in the league.

I wouldn't want him if it means losing Diaw though. I guess that'll depend on how much Pau wants, and whether Patty returns.
